[This voice sounds... like you are talking to Guyman himself. Musical and modulated, and kind of sort of loud]

Since when did Cybertron have grass? Or... y'know still be here? The fact that it's still... I mean that it's not... y'know really... dead and stuff is sort of-

NO REALLY WHY IS THERE GRASS HERE?

[He sounds pretty disturbed by this]

Not that grass is bad! I like grass, it was great on earth, if... y'know anyone here has been there at all, but like- Is that a farm? ... There's a tiny farm he- Did anyone see the tiny farm? Oh my god, I have to get a picture of this no wait, hold on.

[Jadewing is mildly surprised to find that the mech is Soundwave, though the heavy reverb in the voice should have been a clue. Though really who can blame him when the mech is so talkative? When the feed switches to video, though, Jadewing can see that it's definitely not any Soundwave he knows. A moment later, Soundwave can see Jadewing's quirked optic ridge as he also switches to video.]

Well, it's pretty obvious you're not the Soundwave I know; he's blue and a lot boxier. Not to mention a lot quieter.

Yeah I keep hearing that quiet thing a lot. Apparently all my other mes just... don't... talk or something. Why?

Oh the Soundwave I know talks; just not a whole lot. Not sure why. Maybe he just doesn't like to waste energy on unnecessary words. Or it could have something to do with being a telepath.

[Jadewing shrugs.]

Your voice does sound similar to his though. Lots of reverb and synth overtones.

Well yeah just because you can read minds doesn't mean you still don't have conversations. That's kind of rude.

Yeah but it's probably not as creepy when I talk.

I don't really think he's worried about being rude. Especially not to guys like me. Though long as we don't try to lie to him, he generally doesn't bother beyond a passive scan. [shrugs]

Don't suppose you're a telepath too?

[He finds it unlikely for some reason, but better to know for sure.]

And yeah, definitely less creepy. Though exactly how much less, I'll reserve judgement on until I've heard you laugh. My Soundwave laughs even less than he talks, but when he does, it sends a chill up you support struts.

I am. I thought I was the only one, apparently that's just a Soundwave thing though.

I've heard of others, but I think most of them have been wiped out by this point, thanks to the war. They were already rarer than electrum before, so it's not that surprising. Some bots claim Mindwipe is one, but personally I think he's just weird.

[Jadewing chuckles.]

Hence why I'm waiting to hear it o I can judge for myself.

Well, I'm definitely still alive and I'm one. Like a really, really good one.

I'm guessing by the red symbols that you're from one of those universes where the Decepticons are 'good' and the Autobots 'evil', right?

Well yeah, I guess that'd be right. Megatron would say there is no good and evil in war, just two different ideas but the Autobots are uh.... pretty wrong.

[Jadewing nods.]

Yeah. After a couple million years spent killing each other, I don't think either side really has the right to really call themselves the 'good guys'. Though it does seem like the side who wears purple symbols does end up with more psychos per-capita than the other, no matter what universe you're in.

[Note that Jadewing's not making much effort to hide the purple symbols on his own wings.]

Thankfully the worst we have to worry about around here is Dirge, and he's more just a dumbaft winglet than anything else.

So... are... all the 'evil' cons here just tired of being evil then?

For the most part. Though frankly I think a lot of it boils down to the fact that when shooting and getting shot at is discouraged rather than enforced, most of us here really aren't that interested in risking our shells trying to start something. I know I'm not.

Dirge is a Seeker, though from a different universe than me. Apparently he's a clone of Starscream, and got one significantly exaggerated personality trait of Starscream's out of it. In his case, greed. He tries to claim anything he sees and likes as his, regardless of who actually owns it and has an appetite like a starving Sharkticon. Not to mention very little common sense, but that's a trait most winglets his age have regardless of their origins.

Well I mean... at least it keeps the peace, right?

So he's uh... he's kinda dumb.

[He nods]

Right.

And yeah, he is. About some things more than others. Though again, part of that is just the fact that he's young. Only time will tell how big a part, though.

Like how young? He barely sounds like he's even a vorn old.

I never asked for exact numbers but my guess would be very young. Probably young enough to still be a child even by human standards.

I dunno about that. He can be a real pain in the aft and deserves a little verbal jabbing now and then, in my opinion.

Probly a good idea. Just... take what he says with a grain of silicate. Especially if he's claiming to own something that he shouldn't reasonably be expected to own. Like, say, the entire warehouse.

... He doesn't honestly think someone is that dumb does he.

I don't know. But he tends to try it on all the new arrivals, just in case. And he seems to have claimed it in his own processor anyway; last I heard, he was living in a particular corner of it with shelves full of his 'posessions' around him.
