[This voice sounds... like you are talking to Guyman himself. Musical and modulated, and kind of sort of loud]

Since when did Cybertron have grass? Or... y'know still be here? The fact that it's still... I mean that it's not... y'know really... dead and stuff is sort of-

NO REALLY WHY IS THERE GRASS HERE?

[He sounds pretty disturbed by this]

Not that grass is bad! I like grass, it was great on earth, if... y'know anyone here has been there at all, but like- Is that a farm? ... There's a tiny farm he- Did anyone see the tiny farm? Oh my god, I have to get a picture of this no wait, hold on.

[Wing's smile grows. Wow, he's not seen that before, and it's odd, but he's also not one to freak out about it or be rude.]

Sweet. Okay so I met you, aaaand I met Breakdown, that makes two Cybertronians.

Where is everyone? Why is everything so quiet, you'd think having been revitalized a ton of Cybertronians would just come flooding back but like there's...

Well, most are in the city proper. Though we're still not many, a few hundred I think.

The reason for that actually has a lot to do with this particular Cybertron. See, this Cybertron is incredibly young, our kind haven't come to be naturally in this reality yet. All the Cybertronians here have been pulled from other realities than this one.

... So this is like just... newly formed, no one here yet Cybertron?

... Well uh... guess that explains the issue with the population.

Yes. And what population is here have all been misplaced from other their own realities.

You'll meet others when you get more towards the center of Haven.

Yeah but like they aren't even- Like what if they never show up? I mean I can't sit around thinking about that forever, can I?

No, but you should never give up hope. Besides, caring about those from home, not forgetting them, doesn't mean you can't make new friends here. They don't replace those you cared for back home, just add to those you care for.

[BUT HE'S SO BADASS]

I... I know. I know that, it's just... like everyone acts like it's really easy.

And it's not easy to just walk up to some mech you like and go 'Hey buddy you look cool! Lets go hang out!'

[He chuckles softly.] Nothing worth having is easily gotten, Soundwave. It's not easy to put yourself out there like that.

But, to make this at least a little easier, I'd be happy to hang out with you some time.

And he said you knew how to use a sword? Like for real? And then he mentioned something about a guy with thighs, and I totally... don't think his name is Wonder Thighs uh.... but... y'know anyway...

I have a sword and I have like... no idea how to use it? Like at all? So um... y'know if you don't like sitting around mayyybeeee you could like... show me... how to use one?

[The "Wonder Thighs" has him hiding a grin behind his hand.] Drift. His name is Drift.

[He pulls a vent...] It is a possibility. I'd like to meet you in person, before I agree to anything.

[Though with the impending fight against Unicron likely being a thing one of these days, he's actually inclined to say "yes".]

Okay I thought Wonder Thighs looked a little funny, Knock Out didn't know his name.

[One moment and he'll send his coordinates.]

[Well in a matter of seconds, a ground bridge opens up, and some gangly skinny loser comes traipsing through, looking very, very eager]

[Soundwave looks like he doesn't have much by way of armor. There's a lot of biolights showing]

So uh... so here I am like... is there anything you need to know or- I can totally show credentials but it's not like for like... fighting and stuff, but totally other things-

[Might want to jump in before you never get a chance to talk again]

[He holds up a hand, chuckling.] Easy, slow down.

What I really want to know, is why you picked up the sword to begin with.

Well... Because the war started, and I'm Megatron's third, and one day, I'm going to have to defend myself.

I can't have no weapons, and Laserbeak has a laser blaster on it already so...

[He motions Soundwave to come sit by him.]

Will you tell me about your war? And your reason for joining?

[He sort of flops down next to him, every inch an awkward young mech who doesn't seem to know what to do with those long limbs]

Well... It kinda started with Optimus Prime. He was Optronix once, but he had some pretty uh... nasty ideas before he actually went nuts. He apparently found some old artifact while he was acting as a data clerk. The Matrix? He added it to himself and it just sort of drove him insane. He's got some kind of charisma though, because he managed to convince a ton of other mechs to follow him.

Right around the time he started gaining power, Megatron started getting involved too. If anything just because y'know... someone had to stand up to him. He was my math teacher- My favorite teacher, like... Like he was the only mech who ever managed to block my telepathy.

We got really close in the Academy, and well, when he became the Decepticon figurehead and leader, I had to join.

[He finds himself gaping for a moment, just...shocked at the differences! But finally nods.]

I take it you don't know how to use your sword at all?
