GHOST EVENT BACKDATED [AUDIO]
Hey, everyone, it's Drift. Um, something's... come up? I guess? It's probably not a huge deal, but uh...
[He sounds juuuuust a bit out of it, y'know like in the way someone who is terrified out of their mind might sound while trying to play it super cool at the same time. Man he is trying so hard to sound completely unbothered right now.]
Ah, well, the place Wing and I are staying is kind of completely surrounded by restless spirits. Is there a way to shoo them off, or are the angry souls of the prematurely departed now a permanent fixture here?

[She'll amble over to stand by the seated bot, shrugging and smiling.]
Yeah but nah, man; I wouldn't ask you to go wading out into that. If you really want to come with me to try researching, you're totally welcome to, but don't feel obligated for it. Okay?

[even if he is totally spooked]

I uh. Might need a second.
[so spooky]

[If anything, she's content to just kind of check out the apartment now that she's done what she came to do, and now that her carry-all isn't straining with the weight of seasonings. It's kind of interesting, especially since she hasn't spent a whole lot of time looking at Cybertronians' living spaces.]
no subject
Okay, okay, I think I'm good.
<small.[With that he opens the door again, and transforms right there so he can't wimp out and close the door again. He lets his door slide open for Sam to hop in]
no subject
[While some people might find riding inside a Cybertronian strange, Sam regards it as a nice change from being carried and consequently doesn't hesitate to climb into Drift.]
Thanks.

[as soon as she's settled in, Drift takes off, kind of weaving between ghosts. uuugh ectoplasm]

[She'll study the shades, eyebrows up.]
This crowd is... really something.
no subject
I guess I must be popular.
no subject
Exceedingly so.

[Don't mind him just hitting the gas once they're clear of creepy ghosts hope you're wearing a seat belt.
Well, he doesn't have any but IF HE DID, you'd totally be wearing one]
no subject
What year was it when you got to be here? How long have you been here?
no subject
[Sorry he is not helpful.]
no subject
Prrrobably should've specified that to start; I'm sorry.
[At least she takes it in stride, moving on readily.]
And I'm thinking; maybe we should detour, hit the Pantry first.
no subject
[And Drift starts for the Pantry because he's so HELPFUL]

Sure, why not. I like trying new things.
those new things don't usually involve ghosts, but you work with what you're given, right?
no subject
You and me both. Who knows? This might be the beginning of a beautiful friendship, even if it's starting with a ghostly gongshow.
no subject
Well, bonding over a common problem isn't a bad way to make friends.
no subject
[eh; she shrugs]
I dunno; I'm an optimist. And of the opinion that it's going to be nice to make this an actual project with another person.
[Seriously, though. Researching ghost lore/superstitions, and then using the empirical approach to ascertain what's actually accurate? Pretty cool, even if the circumstances are kind of unfortunate. Drift seems like a pretty okay dude.]
no subject
If I can manage to stop being so freaked out by all of this, it could even be a fun project. This sort of this is pretty fascinating.
no subject
It is some freaky stuff, and I know I don't know you well, but I think you will manage. It's just kind of a lot to deal with dumped on you, so the reasonable reaction is like 'what, what even.' By tomorrow you will probably feel a little bit better about all this, even if the prospect of dealing with another day of this seems pretty nnn now.
[Have a pat at your ankle, bud. It's the best she can do at her height.]
We'll make it fun. In my own humble opinion, hauling ass over here was a good first step for that.
