[When Jadewing had woken up to the numerous rainbows in the skies of Haven, he knew instantly that they weren't natural. For one thing, he doubted that there was enough moisture in the air around the city to produce such a vivid rainbow. And for another, natural rainbows simply didn't occur in bunches like this. Nor did they reach all the way to the ground.

On one hand he was mildly irritated. The skies were a Seeker's domain and the fact that the miasma's latest trick intruded on that offended him on principle. But on the other, he was sort of amused. The whole thing seemed harmless enough. Even pleasant. He knew that could change of course, but for now, the skies above the city were a lot more colorful.

And didn't humans have some sort of myth about the ends of rainbows? On a whim, he'd followed the nearest one to its ending point coming in for an easy landing. As it turned out there actually was something there. Go figure. Though when he saw what it was, he couldn't help but laugh.

Which brings us up to the present, and Jadewing's visage appearing on the drones of any who care to tune in.]

Well, what do you know. The whole 'gold at the end of the rainbow' thing wasn't just a bunch of slag after all. Though somehow I doubt this is what the humans had in mind.

[Jadewing holds up the Cybertronian scaled large, black pot he'd found and sure enough, it's filled with gold. Gold paint, that is. In buckets, spray cans, artist's tubes... heck it even looks like there's a few kiddie paint sets in there.]

Does anybody want some of this stuff? I've got no use for this much gold paint, even if I wanted to make myself look like I'd taken a dip in electrum.

Anyway . . . overloaded in paint aside, how ya been? How're those mods workin' for ya?

Yes, it's paint. And I was actually hoping to spread it around a bit more. Give some to people who might actually use it, rather than just hoard it.

[He's already set aside a small amount for himself. Hey, you never know when a bit of spare paint might come in handy.]

Tell you what; I'll see if anybody else wants any first, then you can have whatever's still unclaimed after that. There's more than enough here to go around.

I'll make sure to save you some spray paint then, since that's the kind you'd need for that. Better get someone else to apply it for you, though, if you don't want to make a mess; wings are tricky to do on your own.

Yeah, electrum. It's an alloy of gold and silver that in liquid form reacts with Cybertronian metals and makes them indestructible, for all intents and purposes. The effect is only temporary, though. It also makes any part of a Cybertronian's body affected by it look like it's made of gold.

Yeah. Normally it's really hard to come by in any kind of quantity, though, so it's not as useful as it might be. Though one time someone ran across a whole pool of the stuff on Earth which was actually pretty cool. It got destroyed in the process of both sides fighting to claim it, though, so...
