[A seriously disheveled looking doll comes on the screen. By his tone, Xan sounds as distressed as he looks.]

Everyone, please be on the lookout for The Spine.  It's not his fault, he's not himself right now, but he's extremely dangerous right now.  He doesn't recognize his surroundings and seems to think he's in the middle of a war zone. And he's very well-equipped for it. If you come across him, please do not engage him in any way! He's likely to attack.

If you think you can stop him, please be careful. Again, it's not his fault. If you can knock him out without hurting him, that'd be great. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to, not without doing him serious harm.

[How in the hell would an 8-inch yarn poppet stop a 7-foot-plus-tall titanium robot? Well . . . you'd have to have just seen it to believe it, likely.]

If someone could get a hold of one of the Guardians, maybe one of them could help. Anyway . . . please be careful out there!

Wing! Oh, do be careful. I know he's much smaller than you Cybertronians, but he could still hurt you really badly.

He has a buzzsaw on one arm - it's replaced his hand there - and a powerful laser array of some kind. I'm not sure how, but I think it's intimately integrated with him. I think it runs on the same strange, magical energy that he does.

Yes, if only for his own sake, but unfortunately he really is a danger to anyone who encounters him too. He doesn't mean to, though! I know he doesn't.

I last saw him not far from the Hub. If you go that way, you shouldn't have any trouble finding him. I'm sorry - I couldn't sense the full extent of what he's capable of. He's so kind when he's not malfunctioning. I hate to think what horrors he's been through to make him like this! I sensed some of them. They're really scary!
