I have been thinking, and something has been unclear to me. I cannot be the first to have considered the possibility, so I hope someone out there will help me to understand.

[He shifts with the drone in his hands, sending the background reeling for a moment before he sits himself up where he is.]

It seems common that we come from different worlds, but most of us seem to come from a Cybertron. We have different frame designs, different memories. That has been explained as a sort of parallel universe; I can see that. What I wish to know is if anyone here knows that at least one other person has come from their own world, their own universe's history.

[He hesitates, because it's been a long shot, but this next question is what he really meant to ask. He knows it's terrible to hope, and even if he isn't ready to leave this place, he needs to know that it could be possible.]

More importantly, if you do, do you remember a time when they disappeared from your world without any reason or explanation?

That could have many explanations, but I will make note of it. Did your friend seem to remember anything at all during the time he was gone?

He remembered things from Haven; he'd already been there a good while before I showed up. Long enough to name a chicken after me.

But he'd been pulled from pretty much right after he'd met me back home, so he didn't know any more about the time in between than I did.

Perhaps the Miasma has more control over time than we know. It is possible, since some of us come from different times in the same world. I would not know how to find out.

I don't know about 'control over'. 'Access to' might be a better way of putting it, since time seems to pass normally once you're here.

But yeah, time travel is just weird, no matter how you slice it. Not even Luxord really understood it, and Time magic was his thing.

I am sorry to hear that it did not go well for you. I hope it will not go badly in the future, if it ever does happen again... [Hopefully not. Maybe it's for the best, maybe it's not. But he's not sure how much he really can be comfortable with it either way.]

[Lea doesn't know whether or not it's for the best. However he does believe that they'll most likely be able to leave once they solve the problem of the miasma, since that was sort of how it worked before.]

I kinda was for a long time. A bad person, I mean. I owe a lot to some friends of mine who helped me turn things around. These days... these days I'm just trying to live up to their trust, and not screw things up.

Oh. [Still, he doesn't seem that put off. He was a bad person too, once.]

[He reaches up to rub the side of his helm. Something has him tempted to share a little of that burden, but he's not sure how much he should up and fess to. He's not exactly proud of it. Then again, he doesn't think Lea is either.]

[The odd wording leaves Lea confused for a moment, but understanding soon dawns. He gives a small, wry smile.]

Yes. [He hesitates to say more, but does after a moment.]

It was a long time ago. [But that doesn't make it any more distant in his mind sometimes.]

I wish I could say the same for my time on the wrong side. Not counting the time spent in Haven, it was just a few months ago, back home.

Not that that really matters much though, I guess. [He shrugs slightly] Can't change it, either way. Only thing to do is try and do better from now on.
