[There are some mechanical chirping over the network before the video comes on, and all one sees is a robo firelizard's face feeling the screen. Then what is a familiar voice to some speaks up.]

Charmer, get away from that.

[The firelizard chirps and gets away from the drone and Rose comes into view before the lizard flies over to perch on her shoulder.]

It looks like this thing is working again.

[That's a bit of relief.]

How long was I away?

[And since there may be new faces since she was last here...]

For those who do not know me, I am Rose.

Also, I would like to know how one would go about joining the Police Force here.

[Rose is a little taken aback by the man's appearance. She's never seen someone who is part machine like him. But she gets over it quickly.]

I would not say I was "de-kidnapped," as I have no memory of what happened when I was taken from here. Just a sense that I have been gone for some time now.

Before I disappeared, I was no here long enough to get an idea of what is considered "normal."

[Raiden grinned a bit at the feed, because he could. He stopped, though, when Rose explained things.]

Awesome. This place gets better and better.

[She gives a bit of a shrug.]

At least this Cybertron is friendlier to those of flesh and blood. Before the first time I arrived here, I was on another Cybertron that was much younger and not ideal for those who were not mechanical to live in.

[Nope, not happy at all to hear that. Planets in the habit of kidnapping people? What. Even.]

So since you've been here a while... anything else to that whole story about goop and maybe-we'll-send-you-home-when-we-figure-this-out the flying roomba gave me? Say, the unauthorized version?

I don't mind helping somebody in a pinch, but I was in the middle of something back home.

In all honesty I do not have much, if anything, to add to the information the drones gave. I was only here for about a month before my departure.

I went out to explore this Cybertron to find some answers but it ended up with being gone for some time.

Just seems like something about this place doesn't like people trying to figure it out.

Book, a bunch of movies... it's a pretty popular story where I'm from.

[Raiden blew out a breath, brows drawing together.]

Thought I was done with creepy experiments for a while. Guess not.

I see. [She's at least heard of movies from the previous Cybertron she was on, so she doesn't need to ask him about that.]

If it is any comfort, this Cybertron is relatively calm compared to the previous one I was on before.

[Raiden laughed a little at Rose's conclusion.] Aw, man, I bet you just jinxed us. Then again, I am getting a little bored.

There is bond to be a copy somewhere in this city.

[She arches brow when he laughs. The man has a weird sense of humor.]

You do not sound too worried about that.

I've tried the quiet life. The quiet life and me don't get along too well.

As a warrior, I can relate to that.

Heh. Maybe we can spar or something sometime. In case it gets too quiet.
