[The little drone is looking down on a rather beat up looking blue mech. His red faceplate is marred by a huge hole where his left optic should be. The mists are still fading around him. After a moment his limbs twitch, and then he's surging upright and to his feet with a roar.]
[He stops, completely shocked by his surroundings. He's among graves. Simple stones marked with names ranging from clearly Cybertronian to more Human. Turning a slow circle he spots the drone and frowns.]
What the scrap is going on here?
[He stops, completely shocked by his surroundings. He's among graves. Simple stones marked with names ranging from clearly Cybertronian to more Human. Turning a slow circle he spots the drone and frowns.]
What the scrap is going on here?
[action]
...Hey?
Re: [action]
What?
[action]
Shit.
That---ah, that looks like it hurts like hell.
[There's a question there, and concern.]
Re: [action]
What about it?
[action]
[And she'll offer a shallow little shrug, uncertain.]
Re: [action]
You're...helping me?
[action]
I'm meaning to try to? I can show you the way to the hospital, but that's about all I can do, since I don't know anything about patching up someone without skin.
[She shrugs again---this time, apologetically---before crossing her arms and looking down long enough to smooth the upturned edge of a shirt sleeve. A far cry from MECH's standard-issue armour, the shirt is just a simple tee; the cuffs can't quite come to and can't quite conceal the bars inked onto each arm.]
Re: [action]
[After a moment he makes up his mind and takes a step towards her, reaching to scoop her into one large hand.]
[action]
Uh--!
[It's a bit awkward, but... not alarming, not really, since there seems to be no ill intent involved.]
Okay...
Re: [action]
[Hey, he's not risking his guide getting away.]
[action]
since it's ultimately preferable to trying to match pace]We're going to the nearest Gateway. There's a lot of ground to cover between here and the hospital, so: the shortcut. It's that way, [she points] and not far, for you.
Re: [action]
What kind of joke is this?
[action]
[Beware: Brundlefly.]Re: [action]
[Holy hell, don't you dare bring that to his attention! He might actually drop you!][action]
[She's thought about it since her tour with Wing and has pointedly said NOTHING.]Ultimately, up to the Northwest. Represent.
[Her humour a bit better for the 'represent' remark, she'll supply the code for the Gateway nearest the hospital.]
Re: [action]
[Considering Knock Out's thing for horror flicks, it's a smart thing she keeps her mouth shut.]Represent what? [Clueless bot.]
[And if she doesn't he'll look it up. He is familiar with this tech after all.]
[action]
[She'll share her thoughts with the class sooner or later, but they certainly aren't the sort of thing a new arrival---let alone one in need of medical attention---ought to have on his mind.]Sorry, just... well, making a crack for myself 'cause I'd like to go home, to the Northwest Territories. Canada's.
[Hey, holding out on him would be rude.]
Re: [action]
[Hold that thought, he's doing to walk them through the ground bridge really quick. On the other side he'll pause and look around, taking thing in.]
[action]
[She'll continue after they've passed through the portal, and her new acquaintance has had a moment to get oriented.]
Different first few choice words, same sentiment. It hasn't been bad, but... being stranded kind of bites. Best part's been the people. So,
[She twists a little, turning as well as she's able to look to the big bot.]
I should probably ask who it is I'm talking to.
Re: [action]
...You?
[Well...there's the hospital. He'll just head that way now.]
[action]
[She'd do the same, if she weren't only along for the ride.]
Re: [action]
[He'll head in and it doesn't take long to be sent back to a room to be looked at. Lucky for Sam one of the nurses comments that it's not polite to hold humans like that, and so on his way to the room he'll shift his hold on Sam to let her sit in his palm.]
...sorry.
[action]
'Sokay; no harm, no foul. I was going to let it slide, at least until you were looked at.
...But while we're at it, for the future; A word first, if you're wanting to snatch someone up, okay?
Re: [action]
Uh...right. [He...he could...say something before picking a human up. No big deal...right?]
[action]
We're cool, then. I don't know what sort of shitstorm you're fresh out of, but it seems like the least I can do is cut you some slack.
