[The little drone is looking down on a rather beat up looking blue mech. His red faceplate is marred by a huge hole where his left optic should be. The mists are still fading around him. After a moment his limbs twitch, and then he's surging upright and to his feet with a roar.]

[He stops, completely shocked by his surroundings. He's among graves. Simple stones marked with names ranging from clearly Cybertronian to more Human. Turning a slow circle he spots the drone and frowns.]

What the scrap is going on here?

........[Hold on, he's going to fiddle with this drone and lock this feed.]

You coming into MECH's base for me. We were just leaving the access tunnel. [You hadn't even commented about calling back up yet.]

[He eyes her again.] Right.

...Thanks. [Scrap this is a weird day.]

You...stay safe too. [His processor must be friend.]

[His one optic narrows.]

I've heard of it. Science fiction mumbo. You telling me that's what this is?

[His mouth twists a bit and he looks away.]

I've met a few.

Oh.

[It's clear that they weren't... particularly pleasant. Probably not the kind of people one would want to be well-acquainted (or associated) with.]

I was just wondering, since you seemed sorta surprised by what the nurse said, and also because I don't usually draw such interested attention. Some, sure, but still.

[It wasn't exactly normal for Maya either. Breakdown was the first giant robot that she'd ever met.]

[That said, she spares him the awkwardness of prolonging the conversation any longer, and breaks the connection. Of course, Maya, being Maya, didn't ask him for any way to contact him or anything. Oops.]

[Wow he sounds bitter. Really Miasma? REALLY?]

[He looks back at her, studying her a moment.]

You're not what I was expecting. [Yeah, that's about as much of a compliment as he can really manage right now.]

[He stiffens, glowering at the feed now.]

What's that supposed to mean?

[She shrugs.]

Guess that's fair.

[It's something she's heard on occasion, if not often. Maybe she'll ask what he was expecting, eventually. Now is probably not the best time to.]

So... while we're waiting, anything you wanna ask?

[There were a lot of things he wanted to ask, he just wasn't sure where to start]

How long have you been here?

[He's already off to a better start than Sam, given the question containing her 'first few choice words.']

Coming up on two months, but closer to a month and and a half.

...Earth months, that is. I've been going off my phone's calender because the days here are different and have me all messed up timewise.

Yeah, the time is different on Cybertron. Frankly I'm surprised you organics are able to live here at all.

I don't think I've really stopped being surprised since I got here; it's just become a new baseline.

[Maybe an exaggeration? But not by much. Dragons. Plural. Still, Sam shrugs off the musing.]

It's not like I had any real idea of what I'd be in for, but I've got to admit it's a lot more comfortable than what I would've expected, for being stranded on an alien planet.

Yeah, well...if this were the Cybertron I knew, you'd not be able to breathe.

He takes a few robot breaths to calm down for a moment. Cause getting pissed at Breakdown won't help. For once.]

[He smirks, amused.]

Yyyeah. Anything interfering with it really doesn't end well. At all. And even the stuff that's not necessarily life-threatening is really unpleasant to endure.

[She crosses her hands twice in emphasis. Nobody wants to deal with respiratory irritants. NOBODY.]

[Yeah, that was a million years ago. Bulk's got new buddies to share feelings with, sorry Breakdown. And currently they're all cons/former cons. You'd be impressed.]

[There's no answer cause he's suddenly cutting the feed.

WOW RUDE BULKHEAD.

But then the gateway's suddenly activating, and...out he steps. Accompanied by his own flying drone, and a small brown-green robotic firelizard perched on a paldron, who's peering at this big blue bot.]

Had to see you in person, make sure this ain't some trick.

[He gives a little shrug.] I'd never really thought of asking questions of humans before.

[Breakdown scowls at the drone when Bulkhead suddenly hangs up, but then is turning to the ground bridge.]

You've seen such tricks before?
