[The little drone is looking down on a rather beat up looking blue mech. His red faceplate is marred by a huge hole where his left optic should be. The mists are still fading around him. After a moment his limbs twitch, and then he's surging upright and to his feet with a roar.]

[He stops, completely shocked by his surroundings. He's among graves. Simple stones marked with names ranging from clearly Cybertronian to more Human. Turning a slow circle he spots the drone and frowns.]

What the scrap is going on here?

Miasma. It brings you here, and no one knows why.

[That was accompanied with wiggly fingers and an exaggerated eye roll from Maya.]

At least that's what my little flying robot buddy said. I asked it about a jillion questions once I woke up. Most of the answers still didn't make much sense.

[She paused, biting her lip then.]

Um... how can you have a hole where your eye is supposed to be and that doesn't hurt? Has it been like that for awhile? [That would make slightly more sense.]

[He pauses at the sight of the unknown bot on the drone's screen.]

Who're you? And who're you with?

[Given the Cybertronian's size and and stride, he's quite suddenly within scooping distance---Sam doesn't have a chance to do anything but start before she's abruptly up.]

Uh--!

[It's a bit awkward, but... not alarming, not really, since there seems to be no ill intent involved.]

Okay...

[His remaining optic twitches...that...didn't mesh with his last memories.]

How'd we get here?

The what? [What the scrap you talkin' about?]

Not yet. [He was a little busy with looking around and making sure he didn't need to shoot anyone to question his drone yet.]

[Sigh. Did space robots not have movies?]

Never mind.

The roomba seems to know what's going on. Whoever's in charge must be trying to round everyone up or something, though why they'd let us talk to each other on these things is up in the air.

[How to be grumpy Con at a human girl who's being nice to him? He's not entirely sure.]

The drone told you that? Hm... [he'll have to question his, maybe he could make it make sense.]

My...pain receptors have been disabled.

All right. Tell me where we're going.

[Hey, he's not risking his guide getting away.]

The little robot told me lots of stuff. But like I said, most of the answers didn't make much sense. Like it told me we're on Cybertron, but... that doesn't give me much of a point of reference aside from letting me know I'm a long way from home.

[Maya shrugged. She was trying not to freak out about being a million miles from home, with no way to get back, no way to call anyone, and in a city full of robots. Though that last part wasn't too bad, so far.]

I'm Maya, by the way. What's your name? And pain receptors being turned off or not, we should try to find you a doctor.

[Were there robot doctors? Well... that made about as much sense as anything else she'd run into today. And robot doctors were a much less creepy idea than the idea of robot zombies.]

[Sam takes a moment to shift---best she's able---before she settles, deciding to just roll with this situation ~~since it's ultimately preferable to trying to match pace~~]

We're going to the nearest Gateway. There's a lot of ground to cover between here and the hospital, so: the shortcut. It's that way, [she points] and not far, for you.

[Of course they did, but you don't expect them all to be like earth movies, do you? And while familiar with some earth movies, war doesn't provide too much time for sneaking off to drive-in theaters.]

Round us up... [he clearly doesn't like the sound of that.] Any clues as to what for?

[Clearly movie night needs to be a thing around here!]

Something about the cloud shit. It brings us here from the ends of the universe, but it'll also kill you or something. You'd think it'd put you a little closer to what passes for civilization, but noooo.

[He looks shocked and looks around at this...place.] Cybertron...

[He looks back at the drone, frowning, but...she's just repeating what she was told.]

Breakdown. And yeah. I'll...find a doctor.

[He looks at her....and moves in the direction indicated. The ground bridge is a familiar sight....seeing his rival's name on the side of it, though, has him frowning.]

What kind of joke is this?

[He'll be interested in that.]

[He looks around] I'm not far from a city here.

Is what? They initially struck me as sort of sketchy, but I haven't heard of a mishap.

That's lucky. I was dropped near a mountain. Don't think I'm too far out now.

[He could see the haze of buildings nearby-- an hour at the most and he'd have some people to bother, hopefully.]

If you've got a communicator or something, I can try to give you my frequency. No offense, Roomba.

[Yes. Yes that last was addressed to the drone. What. It had been helpful.]

I don't know if there's a doctor in the main city. I would think there would be. The city is called Haven, according to the little robot, who I really need to name. What would be a good name for one of these things?

[Maya looks to Breakdown, and offers him a smile, as if he knows the perfect name for a cute robot buddy.]

I don't know how long it will take me to get to the central city, otherwise I'd offer to meet up with you. I woke up in a lake. I mean, I've trained under freezing cold waterfalls, so this wasn't anything too new, but this whole place something a bit outside the realm of my experience. Just... be careful... okay?

[He might be a little growly, but Breakdown seemed pretty okay. And considering the circumstances, Maya honestly couldn't blame him for being growly.]

It's a ground bridge. Just...never mind. [He'll step up and poke at the controls.] Where are we heading?

~~[Holy hell, don't you dare bring that to his attention! He might actually drop you!]~~

[Wait....wait....he needs to....try to reason through the fact that it's okay to...share his personal frequency with some...robot human...thing. What're the pros and cons of this, Breakdown? Huh?]

Uh...yeah I uh...[scrap, have to give it now. Lord Megatron will kill him for this...if he's even here.]

Yeah, go for it.

~~[She's thought about it since her tour with Wing and has pointedly said NOTHING.]~~

Ultimately, up to the Northwest. Represent.

[Her humour a bit better for the 'represent' remark, she'll supply the code for the Gateway nearest the hospital.]

I'm....sure there is.

[And then he's gaping at this smiling human expecting him to name her drone.] Uhhh...we...don't usually...name drones...

[Dammit, this is so awkward.]

My name is Deckard. And if you're Cybertronian, I'm probably safe to assume you mean am I an Autobot or Decepticon? Neither. I'm a robot detective from a planet called Earth, likely not the same one you'd think of if you're familiar with the world.

You're on Cybertron, but one in a different reality from whatever one you're from. This city is called Haven.

Just get yourself to a hospital, okay?

[She shakes her head a little. They don't name drones. Don't they have pets or cute sidekicks or anything where he's from? Whatever.]

And I mean it. Be careful, Breakdown. I could try and check in on you later through the little robot drone if that's okay?

[If she could figure out how to get it to call him. After all, pain receptors or not, he still had a hole in his head, and that wasn't any good at all. What if he leaked fluid everywhere? What if he got hurt worse and didn't feel it? She'd offer to take him Fey Family Chicken Soup... but she didn't know if there were chickens on this crazy world, or if robots even ate food.]

[And if she doesn't he'll look it up. He is familiar with this tech after all.]
