[Dude's huge, but that isn't half of it. What arrests her attention (utterly, and for the better part of a breath) is the mech’s emotional atmosphere, clear as any corona she’s seen. That it’s there isn’t shocking (if she’s assumed anything, it’s ‘what sounds like a real person probably is’) but that it should be so like anyone else’s---]

[There's some surprise at the offer, but it's short-lived, being almost immediately eclipsed by delight. The overall situation leaves a lot to be desired---like the long list of odd odds and ends she needs to try to write home---but this is alright. More than alright; this is kind of awesome.]

[He chuckles and nods.] Then let the tour begin. This is part of the central section of the city. The city is known as Haven, and that large structure there is The Hub. You'll be able to find a lot of what you'll need to live there. Organic fuels, apartments, some supplies. The rest of the supplies are in that building there, The Warehouse.

[And he'll start walking, pointing things out and pausing for her to ask questions.]

Depends on the supplies really. From what I understand the items in the Warehouse are brought through the Miasma, much as we were, and organic fuels are grown or raised in the...Southwest Sector.

[He shrugs.] Large farm out there, fields, orchards. Worked by a mix of drones and volunteers from the city looking for a way to help the city and pass the day. I can take you out that way if you'd like.

I'd be happy to. [He'll actually head for the nearest Gateway, and will show her how to use it as he gets it set to take them to the correct Sector. Stepping through thr swirling blue energies they'll find themselves looking over the farm from what seems like a loading dock.] Here we are.

[At first glance, the Gateway inspires some substantial misgivings. It isn't that she expects the mechanism might malfunction, or has Clavell's infamous Fly to consider, but the way Star Trek teleporters supposedly work has always seemed suspicious. At second glance---and through Wing's explanation---it seems safer; function is the sole similarity.]
