Video
[The feed comes on to show a bot who really has been rather quiet lately, offering a crooked half-smile.]
Hey folks.
[Did that seem like too much steam? He was just standing there, it didn’t look like he should be venting nearly that much steam in that case.]
Was just hopin’ someone c-could do me a favor, n-n- [Well that sudden malfunction of voice didn’t bode well. The titanium bot stopped dead, a tremor running through his frame as the sound of something grinding in his chassis was heard, the echo of something snapping accompanying the sudden jerk of his frame, steam billowing around him as his optics went dark and he suddenly sank on his feet as his systems simply forced a shutdown before something else went wrong.
The silence stretched a moment before there was another jerk of movement from the bot, steam hissing from vents as his gaze lifted, the light of his optics narrowed to pinpricks as there was a sudden tearing of fabric and he suddenly struck out at the drone. Not like anyone would know if the drone fared well after that; the feed cutting abruptly.]
Action
[Even if someone missed the video, it would be quite clear that something was not right with The Spine if they ran into him outside. His normal almost awkwardly smooth, practiced way of moving had been replaced by a heavy sort of gait that he hadn’t used since he was younger, the way he seemed to look through anyone that came near.
Sleeves shredded, fabric hanging in tatters around the weapons his arms had shifted to, the bot clearly on the hunt for something. Not seeing the city around him, seeing instead a bleak landscape, hearing the metallic trumpeting of the enemy. Whatever else might be happening, it was plain that he did not mean well for whoever crossed his path.]
((OOC: Warbot malfunction! There's some chance for some triggering mess- body horror, violence, death, things of that nature, so if you don't want that, just put an ooc note in your first reply and I'll make sure everything's a-ok. Also if you want your character and Spine to throw down let me know what the limits are/if you want to deal with them dying or not, serious injuries etc. His app has all the info on his warbot weapons but ask me if you need clarification!))

[Video] LOL I let his paid run out so this is the closest to "appropriate" I have XD
[Frag, that doesn't look good. Maybe he should go look for your scrawny, malfunctioning aft.]
XDDD
The poor engineer would have his hands full if he did find the bot, too big to be one of the others, too small to be Delilah.
Just the right size to be mistaken for one of them.]
[Action forever now] DNW to kill him, but anything else is fair game. XD
[action] sounds good to me 8B
...No Blue Matter detected. Becile Tech takedown initiated.
[That decided? Both his saw and the rather nasty looking weapons array that was his other arm screamed to life, and while the bot's movements were strange, jerky?
He was still a pretty quick shot.]
Okay, that's it, renewing paid time. XD;;;
XD
EXCUSE YOU he's not an elephant, he's just built stocky. XD
Suuuuure
Y U so mean. TT~TT

[Action] Throwing most everyone in bc why not XD
[The little knitted doll was just out exploring, riding its - his - comm drone around, when he sensed it. Danger. Threat. Alarm. ...despair? Helplessness.]
The Spine!
[Oh, no, what's wrong, friend!? Xan guides his drone, looking for the antique music-bot.]
[War bot.]
[War? What? ...no, it's true. Oh goodness, and now he's malfunctioning. This is no good at all! Determined to help, Xan searches until he finds the lumbering mess of a robot. He moves his drone into The Spine's view without getting too close.]
The Spine? The Spine! Can you hear me? It's Xan.
((ooc: No TW needed for me. XD I would kinda like them to fight. XD Maybe we can coordinate on Plurk later how this'll go? Admittedly, while Xan /has/ powers, they're not very well defined (mostly hinted at and used "off-screen" in the game), so this'll also let me start fleshing them out a bit, I think. \o/))
[action] Buwahaha!
The drone and it's passenger were small enough that he paused, frame jerking, steam hissing from vents as he surveyed them. Not human. Mechanical and... something else. But... no Blue Matter. Which could only mean one thing.]
T-t-t-take it down-!
[Too far to use his saw, bringing his Blue Matter array to bear as he approached, a whine and sparking signalling the nasty-looking weapon was charging.]
no subject
[And, Xan realizes, he won't stop unless he /is/ stopped.]
[Blue-white energy crackles down the little doll's right arm, gathering in his hand, as he takes a braced stance on his drone.]
The Spine! I don't want to hurt you, but you need to stop! Get a hold of yourself before you hurt someone!
no subject
His creator still aboard the great giraffe, begging Thaddeus to stop, to stand down before anyone else was hurt before more innocents were killed.
'Delilah wouldn't have wanted this!'
Even as chaos reigned, the Blue Matter bots doing their best against Green, against creations specifically designed for war, to kill, whereas Walters creations were meant for other things. A last ditch effort to stop a madman who'd once been his closest friend.
The titanium bot lifting his arm, firing the Blue Matter array at what he saw as threat, as enemy. Here was hoping poor Xan and his drone were fast enough to dodge that streak of bright, searing blue.]

Action
off
His aura was almost unrecognizable. That registered first; the weapons in place of his hands, the strangeness of his stride, everything else came second. Sam would have struggled to describe the difference beyond 'big,' if asked, but that was what it was: an atmosphere unlike anything she'd picked up off the bot before. A difference that drastic was alarming on its own (a what the hell happened?!) but its rapid cycling read 'hackles high'. Sam stopped where she was---what would've been a block back---Bon Ron stopping obediently beside her.]
...Spine? What's wrong?
Action
But no response. Silent, hefting the saw in a considering manner as he started to approach, definitely not intending anything good at this point.
Something was very, very wrong.]
Action
Spine! I don't want t'ditch, but you're making that option seem pretty fucking prudent.
[Prompted in part by The Spine's slow approach, and in part by Sam's tone, Bon Ron lowered its head and took a few paces forward. The smaller bot has long been a known 'friendly,' but with the way his saw's held, is now a more than plausible threat.]
Action
As it was, Bon Ron had his full attention at the moose's movements, stance shifting as he moved in closer. And the rev of that saw certainly wasn't comforting in the least.
Best to make tracks Sam, he doesn't look like he's playing around.]

Re: Action
Finally sneaking in late. Let's start with a little girl, because I'm horrible.
...Spine?
[She can't help but sound worried.]
HAHAHA
Stance relaxing a fraction as this was obviously a child, green optics skipping around the area, looking for any sign that it was a trap, that there was an ambush waiting in the wings for him to take the bait. But the coast seemed clear, and Jendayi wasn't suffering from Green Matter radiation so it was safe enough.
If she didn't try and avoid him, that would be one titanium bot letting the saw fold away back into his arm as he reached with his now free hand...
to pick the girl up, cradling her carefully to one side. Time to get her to safety.]

Spine? Are...are you okay?
Wh-what's...what's wrong?
no subject
[Clearly he wasn't getting better, just holding onto Jendayi as gently as he could manage as he started moving, paying no mind to the oil that was starting to drip from an ear.
Something was very wrong and he was in no state to do anything about it.]

Feel free to rough him up, perhaps even kill him, it'll piss off Knock Out...and embarrass Breakdown
Poor Breakdown is it bad I wanna see Spine smack him with his own hammer? XD
E-e-nnnemy caravan sp--tt-d, c-commenciiing t-t-kd-n-
[The weapons would fold away for the moment, the bot simply standing in Breakdown's way, and the second he got close enough, he'd be bracing to take impact in one shoulder, which just let him get low enough to grab the poor mech by the undercarriage and for lack of a better word... suplex him.]
HEY! THAT HAMMER IS ATTACHED (do it).
to loom overand look down at The Spine.]Hey, why you in the middle of the street?
[Breakdown, just run, okay? Please? No? Dammit.]
STOP HITTING YOURSELF, STOP HITTING YOURSELF
Was the wrong thing to do. The bot took a startled step back with another burst of steam, (was that smoke mixed into it?) optics brightening to pinpricks.]
It's a tr-p, send-d-d-----ckup----gagin--
[Think fast Breakdown because that first shot of brilliant blue would be aimed at your face.]
OW! OW! STOP THAT! MOOOO-- I mean KNOCK OOOOOUT!!

Are you alright?
[Cue Shadowmaru carefully coming over, he was still new here but even he knew that this wasn't proper behavior for the Spine. Just by appearance alone and just how...unsteady he seemed]
No worries I am a late slow Kiwi anyways XD
But unfortunately all he saw was a looming threat, optics brightening as he raised the array to fire a shot of brilliant blue the larger bot's way, even as he was backing up slightly to try and get a better assessment of said 'threat'.]
Re: No worries I am a late slow Kiwi anyways XD
What is wrong with you?!
World's worst game of frisbee
Not that Shadowmaru had much time to assess the situation, the smaller bot stomping a heel against one of the manhole covers hard enough to flip it up to seize hold of and fling at the now-canine bot as hard as he could.]
