[It's a bright day in Haven, despite the snow on the ground. Snow? In Haven? ...yep. People seem to expect "the normal" seasons, so somehow they tend to happen even on a planet where they shouldn't be possible as such. The chaos energies of the Miasma, maybe?]

[A figure walks the streets, black cloak a stark contrast to the white snow. More shifting shadows than solid matter, the lone walker seems almost ponderously heavy despite the bone-thin frame - "skeletal" frame, even. The robed figure seems half-skeleton, half-something mechanical and old, rusty and corroded. For those who know the entity, yes, it is Death - Haven's first Guardian - walking the streets of the city. Does he search for someone? Is he just making the rounds as he is wont to do semi-frequently? Maybe he's just enjoying the snow.]

[He pauses as something seems to catch his attention, the blackness in the skull's sockets seeming to deepen further as a focus. The entity stoops, blade-claws on the ends of bone-and-metal fingers delicately picking a pair of sunglasses out of a snow drift. The glasses are turned over, studied . . . and finally donned. Because why not?]

[Straightening and seeming quietly satisfied, Death continues on his way.]

[The hooded - and bespectacled - skull turns ponderously in the direction of the comm drone following the being. The head tilts ever so slightly.]

Lots of things, if I'm gonna be honest. Went from just one person in the place to two humans, three small robots, one large robot, a construct and three drones. Full house. Unexpected, sure, but not at all unwelcome.

They could... but I'd say we're just at capacity, not 'too crowded' yet. If we end up with anyone else, we'll work something out. It's... I dunno, just kind of funny to me that it's filled up the way it has, even if it's been about a year.

[Though Death only marginally even understands, as he's not bound by such physicalities as material walls or really even space as humans and others understand and experience it. But he's observed long enough to have a working "knowledge" of it.]

SUCH AS A 'HOME'. I DO NOT. I DO NOT HAVE NEED OF ONE. I AM MERELY PHYSICAL WHEN IT IS CALLED FOR, TO INTERACT WITH OTHERS SUCH AS YOURSELF.

[The lack of a physical territory is the only thing that might spare Death first-footing in the future. Might. Despite being an unsettling presence---especially in person!---the entity has been nothing but helpful and polite throughout their interactions, and if Samantha Patchowski believes in anything (besides the importance of the Oxford comma) it's that one good turn deserves another. If nothing else, Death has a gesture of goodwill coming.]

[Hey, even Death gets a bit curious about one thing or another once in a while. He's not all-knowing, after all.]

Sorta. Those shades suit you; I'd wondered if there'd be a place to drop'em off if I come across a pair which also would.

[There are a couple muddled motivations here, but it's 'a nice thing to do' whichever way she'd slice it. Death seems a little less ominous while wearing sunglasses (though the effect may be augmented by this whole conversation being held via video) and he tries to be minimally imposing, so there's that, and there's the small-but-significant 'pro' for others about finding the entity ~~maybe~~ ~~marginally~~ less disconcerting.]

[That...was not something Death had expected. But he nods.]

[The hooded figure's head tilts ever so slightly, the glasses shifting a fraction out of place since...well...no nose. No ears, either, for that matter - how /are/ those things even staying as they are at all?]
