What the hell.
[Sam's laughing a little as she speaks. The reason why is clear as soon as her drone shows her, standing as she is beside the doorway of her bedroom... which is almost entirely blocked by furry masses. She presses a hand against the pile, testing its give, and there's a gritty shifting sound as her hand sinks a couple of inches. The noise should be familiar to a few of her fellow Haveners, if not telltale until---]
Got some bigass beanbags over here. And since I'm assuming someone did this---since nobody's talking about a beanbag invasion---I've gotta say, I'm kind of impressed. Check this out.
[She moves out of frame to take hold of her drone, pointing it up to and then pushing it through the little 'window' left open, near the top of the doorway. The short hall that leads to the rest of the apartment? FURRY BEANBAGS. It's furry beanbags as far as the eye can see---which isn't far, because, again, beanbags.]
Am I ever glad we made the moose door open out.

[Bon Ron turns its head, so that there's a slight (but supportive) curve in its neck for Hiro to lean into. It's fortunate for all that the moosebot has the temperment of an especially large and patient dog.]
Oh, okay. [Sam nods, as if this makes sense---and it does, sort of, because no threat should make it that far into their apartment.] I'd hate to step on Bert is all.

[Hiro asks this, teasingly, patting affectionately at his favorite moosebot.]
Nah, he's got foot-sensors now. He's an empowered bot.

[Sam punctuates her passing this 'pop quiz' with a brief raspberry.]
Any other upgrades to the household I ought to be aware of?
no subject
Nah, not this week. I've been too constrained by space.

[you brought that barrage on yourself, bucko]
Good to know. Though, there's something I want to know, regarding one of your non-pet projects.
no subject
...I don't do projects on pets anymore, you won't let me. [Bon Ron gives a woeful look, because he remembers the last one, and does not want to suffer through wearing rocket boots again.]

You had that coming. And no, no, I don't mean li---would the foot sensors not count as a pet project, or are upgrades your loophole, bud? Either way, I was wondering whatever came of those jetpacks you'd discussed with Knock Out.
[As fond as Sam is of the medic, she's sure his poker face is better than Hiro's; questioning Doc Knock is just impractical when she knows the noodle she rooms with is a terrible liar.]

[He says it with a grin, though, because he's a little twerp like that. More beanbags go out the window as he things for a moment.] They're...in development. [Aka, finding fuel that won't blow up the apartment is proving to be a problem.]

[She nods, though, even as she pushes another beanbag up to and then over the windowsill.]
Just warn me when you're getting the things off the ground.
