[Well that was unexpected. The dominantly purple mech had been shifted out of his jet form into bipedal mech. The mist wafted around him as he tried to get what bearings he could of his surroundings.]

Where in the world am I?

[This was obviously not Japan, let alone where he'd been before. Before he'd been patrolling in jet form after a culprit. He'd gone through a cloud and ended up here. A little drone rolled up to him and seemed to be looking up at him, which had him looking right back in wary confusion.]

Yes. We can't say for sure if there are other cities out there, but Haven is currently surrounded by what's known as the Miasma. It's dangerous to try to enter it, and so, for now, this is the only reachable city.

Essentially. It doesn't dome over the city, but it stretches as far as can be seen. Even bringing extra fuel I'm not sure I'd trust being able to cross it. Especially since the source is within the planet.

It raises the question of how I even got here, if things can't really leave.
