[BIRB GET.

He has his drone watching him, just happily listening to his new giant canary.

What a pleasant surprise! I couldn't have asked for a better present. Does anyone know who sent this?

[He reaches out to stroke his happy little musical companion on the head]

I don't know how I'd be able to thank them.

Seems like. Maybe I'll have the pleasure of meeting it in person one of these days.

[Sam laughs at that.]

I'd be at least a little tempted to try, but I'm not sure how safe it would be. Speaking of rides, though, since your bird seems pretty social I wonder if it would enjoy meeting my relatively new companion. Now got one robotic moose buddy, and no explanation.

[She takes hold of her drone to adjust the angle, showing said moose settled on the floor in front of her apartment's wide window.]

Say hello to Bon Ron.

Yes, yes, yes, and yes! This one might not have the fur coat his organic counterparts do, but he more than makes up for it with a warm and fuzzy personality.

He really is, and yep. My roomie named him Ronald Underwood before I could have any say, and that was sorta shifted to 'Bon Ron' for a better conversational ring and because 'bon' means good. Shuffling out into the living room to find this big moosebot taking up most of it [mild exaggeration but compared to a human Bon Ron is pretty big, what with being the size of a real bull moose] my first instinct was a moment of 'whoa, good moose, nice moose,' and it turns out that's exactly what he is, so... yeah.
