[BIRB GET.

He has his drone watching him, just happily listening to his new giant canary.
]

What a pleasant surprise! I couldn't have asked for a better present. Does anyone know who sent this?

[He reaches out to stroke his happy little musical companion on the head]

I don't know how I'd be able to thank them.
automobileenthusiast: (oh good it's starscream)

PARDON ME FOLKS IMPORTANT

[personal profile] automobileenthusiast 2015-10-08 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
Hey, do you wanna eat this bird?

[and by this bird i mean KO's dumb pet peacock is sticking it's face in the camera and screaming HELLO NICE LADY]
greater_than_zero: (Goosed)

Knock Out no!

[personal profile] greater_than_zero 2015-10-08 02:18 am (UTC)(link)
Why would you even offer that? [so squicked]
automobileenthusiast: (oh my god starscream)

YES

[personal profile] automobileenthusiast 2015-10-08 02:26 am (UTC)(link)
What? I don't have any use for it!
greater_than_zero: (That sounds unpleasant)

NOOOOO

[personal profile] greater_than_zero 2015-10-11 02:14 am (UTC)(link)
But to offer it to be...eaten? [Knock Out, that’s gross!]
automobileenthusiast: (this is my head)

YESSSSSSSSSS

[personal profile] automobileenthusiast 2015-10-16 03:29 am (UTC)(link)
Humans eat other animals! It's not that weird.
greater_than_zero: (Just stop talking)

Knock Out, stop arguing.

[personal profile] greater_than_zero 2015-10-20 02:41 am (UTC)(link)
Actually, it’s extremely weird, that’s like us eating metal.

But that’s beside the point, that thing is still alive and hasn’t done anything to deserve to be killed, let alone eaten.
automobileenthusiast: (oh im sorry were you talking)

NO

[personal profile] automobileenthusiast 2015-11-10 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
You've never been to an organic planet before, have you? How adorable.
greater_than_zero: (Just stop talking)

[personal profile] greater_than_zero 2015-11-23 01:07 am (UTC)(link)
[He gives Knock Out a bit of a flat look.] No, I haven’t.

....[soft sigh] I take it this is natural for their kind?

[Ew.]
automobileenthusiast: (>:3)

[personal profile] automobileenthusiast 2015-11-27 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
Oh, absolutely. Perfectly natural. Humans are omnivores, meaning they're able to eat and process both animal protein and vegetation.
greater_than_zero: (Just stop talking)

[personal profile] greater_than_zero 2016-01-06 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
Yes, so I’ve been told. I just didn’t realize they did the killing part. I’d assumed it was a more...natural process I guess.
automobileenthusiast: (oh my god becky)

[personal profile] automobileenthusiast 2016-01-06 03:19 am (UTC)(link)
What, you think they let their food die from old age or disease? They're not just going to wait around for their food to drop dead.
greater_than_zero: (What? I'm listening)

[personal profile] greater_than_zero 2016-01-08 03:18 am (UTC)(link)
I’d honestly not considered the “how” of it all yet, my research has been on other aspects of organics.

[Really, though....you have to admit that killing to eat is a rather disturbing way of things no matter how you look at it.]

Not particularly? If you'd asked in time for Thanksgiving I might've taken you up on it, but I haven't dealt with a whole bird but once in Home Ec.

...Any reason why you have a peacock, or did it just join you?
automobileenthusiast: (that's not a joke for the internet to en)

[personal profile] automobileenthusiast 2015-10-08 02:28 am (UTC)(link)
I have no idea what a Home Ec is.

It just appeared one day, and it won't stop making noise.

It's a junior high class that covers the basics of cooking. Quartering a whole bird was something we did, but I don't really remember the how-to. I might not want to---amateur hour all over the place.

Oh. Probably wants food or attention.
automobileenthusiast: (oh my god becky)

[personal profile] automobileenthusiast 2015-10-08 02:37 am (UTC)(link)
I've been feeding the thing, I'm assuming this thing just wants my undying attention and won't shut up until it gets it.

[One has to wonder if this is what being Breakdown feels like]

[personal profile] 10_20_15_5_50 2015-10-08 02:43 am (UTC)(link)
Sounds probable. Food, water, attention... And maybe having a hideaway for it could secure you some slack. If it had a little nook, it might shut up and go to sleep there.
automobileenthusiast: (HOW YOU DOIN BON BON)

[personal profile] automobileenthusiast 2015-10-08 02:48 am (UTC)(link)
...Okay, so I've never actually taken care of an organic animal before. I hope you don't mind if I come to you for advice every five minutes.

I don't mind at all, you're more than welcome! And, uh, no offence, but I would like to know what you've fed it so far.
automobileenthusiast: (eeeeeeeeyyyy)

[personal profile] automobileenthusiast 2015-10-08 03:00 am (UTC)(link)
B...iiird food?

[that's promising right]

Seeds, right? Birds eat seeds.
10_20_15_5_50: (neutralish)

[personal profile] 10_20_15_5_50 2015-10-08 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
Some kinds of birds, some kinds of seeds. I don't know what exactly peacocks eat but I know it can't be too exotic, given the places I have seen peacocks. Bread may not be ideal but it can't hurt, so I'm going to stop by and give you a bit before I go to the farm as I was planning to today. While I'm there I'll bum a bag of whatever they're giving the fowl that they've got. Sound good?
automobileenthusiast: (sassy sue)

[personal profile] automobileenthusiast 2015-10-08 03:24 am (UTC)(link)
That sounds excellent. I owe you one.
10_20_15_5_50: (lookin over my shades at u sir)

[personal profile] 10_20_15_5_50 2015-10-08 03:30 am (UTC)(link)
Well, you're a friend, which makes it no big. I'll be by in a bit.
automobileenthusiast: (this is my head)

[personal profile] automobileenthusiast 2015-10-09 01:35 am (UTC)(link)
You're a darling. The door's open.

You're a flatterer. [Sam snaps her fingers, pointing at the feed.] I like that.

Seeya soon.

[Sure enough, it isn't long before Sam's shout echoes down the hall.]

HULLO!

[So she's like two doors down, but given Cybertronian scale... yeah, it seems warranted. And who knows? Perhaps it'll startle the peacock into some silence.]
