[Enter Jetstorm, lying in his room on his bed. Normally, he would be perfectly comfortable, probably resting or recharging under one of the fluffy blankets provided to him when he moved in. But this is a little different.]

[As in, there's now a very colorful dragon about a fourth of his body size lying over his torso, keeping him held in place, head resting on its forelegs as it snoozes peacefully.]

[Just a little different.]

[Meanwhile, Jetstorm is just staring at it like the derp he is, optics wide and blinking, not at all sure what to do. A moment or two more and he finally takes note of the drone floating across the room, recording his woe.]

Ah... Would you please refrain from doing that right now? I am in a bit of a situation.

It does not seem to want to wake. I have tried to push it, but it will just rub its head on me and keep sleeping.

It does. [He... reaches up to put a few fingers against the dragon's shoulder again, not to push this time, just to touch. It's no less fascinating or awkward to see the creature shift ever so slightly to tilt into that touch.]

Is anyone else seeing anything like this, or do you recognize this creature?

I don’t, though it seems many people have ended up with new companions, myself and Drift included.

[While he can, he watches the screen from his drone, trying to spot a little sentient creature running about somewhere.]

What companion did you find? Or Drift? Or, rather, what found you?

This is my new companion. [He motions to a ribbon of light that comes floating towards him to settle on his shoulders.]

And Drift’s... [sorry, he can’t help but snerk as he turns so he drone can look at a big rock...it rocks in place a bit and makes an odd cooing sound.] Well, this has been trying to follow him all morning.

[She falls out of view, a big wolf head bumping her on the back is probably the reason why. He looks down at her with a curious look, almost as though asking why she fell. Jendayi pulls herself back up and pats the giant wolf pup’s head] Yes, you’re amazing too, promise.

Kind of. He was lying on my legs when I woke up. I haven’t decided what to call him yet. Lea’s little fire thing burned some of the hair on his cheek, but he’s okay.

I have tried, but it seems that the creature does not want to move. It must be very tired, but it is not hurting me.

[He's currently trying to reach out to put a hand on the dragon's head - he was told it was a dragon anyway - but he hasn't quite placed it yet, like he's not sure what he's doing. Or what it will do. Again.]

I had wanted to stay here a little longer, but is this... the miasma?

Possibly the miasma's doing, but it looks like a dragon to me. A dragon that must like you, no less.

Pretty sure the answer to that varies case-by-case, but this dragon seems to want snuggling. I haven't met many dragons myself, so I don't know if that's too typical, but hey.
