[Another day, another drone activating to record someone without their knowledge. It takes a moment for it to focus in on said unsuspecting victim, but when it does? There’s a Cybertronian sitting slumped against a battered looking bridge in the East. A Cybertronian that likely looks familiar, what with the long arms, oddly jointed legs and blank screen where a face should be. But the paint job is a dark blue, almost black in places, with purple biolights covering the torso.]

[Soundwave doesn’t appear to be moving though. And with no visible face it’s hard to tell if he’s just recharging or knocked out or… well…]

[He might not have been able to interact with anything in the Shadowzone, but that didn’t mean he wasn’t using up fuel. Shortly after he’d heard Megatron’s death, the Autobots rounding up all the remaining Decepticons on the ship, and seen the restoration of Cybertron, Soundwave had forced himself into recharge. He… needed to figure out what his next move was going to be and for that he needed a clear mind. Watching everything he had worked for suddenly falling apart wasn’t conducive to being able to think through a problem logically.]

[Luckily for anyone who was worried, when the drone gets bored of recording a motionless body, it moves closer to perch on Soundwave’s leg and he jerks, creepy long fingers grabbing the poor thing before the feed cuts.]

[... Well he's glad he didn't crush the drone like his first impulse said to, because that sure was Knock Out's voice coming from it.]

[It was Megatron's voice. Though last he saw the medic was being thrown in the brig with all the Vehicons, so he's not really sure... Okay he's not too sure of anything right now.]

[Knock Out visibly cringes. Look that's a voice he kind of thought he'd never hear again okay]

Charming. Well, you look positively miserable.

[He notices that cringe, but won't comment for now. Instead he's just going to give Knock Out the flattest look one can without a visible face. Thank you for that assessment doctor. Soundwave pushes himself up, joints making a very displeased noise as he does so. He hasn't had the best of times lately, okay.]

[Staring. Cause what the frag? He hasn't seen you probably since you were put in the shadow zone.

They assumed you died.]

[Bee might look a bit different, but his voice was the same as he last heard, and he knew who he was. And last time he saw Bee, he had just killed Megatron. Oh and all the Autobots left him to rot in some weird alternate dimension.]

[Which was why his shoulders stiffened and Bee could probably feel the hate coming from his gaze as he stared back.]

[Yes, it is Soundwave, and if he can find you, he'd very much like to rip you limb from limb right now.]

[Hey, Megatron killed him first. So there. And you're still technically a war criminal, like Breakdown. Which is making him conflicted, cause you look like you need serious help.

But that gaze makes him stiffen, wings lifting too. Cause if looks could kill...

He doesn't let his own gaze or expression waver. He's not afraid of you, Soundwave.]

Help's on the way. [Not him, cause he gets the feeling it won't end well.]

Keep in mind, there's no war here. And the war back home is over. [AKA: Don't start trouble here.

[... There is a lot of Frysquinting going on right now. That was clearly Breakdown, and Breakdown's normal voice not with that ugly ass organic talking through him. His eyes were not purple and he was not raging about energon.]

[Really the only logical assumption Soundwave could make was that he was dead now or running low enough on energon that he was seeing things. Well. Either way wasn't a complete surprise. Which was why he just replied with Knock Out's voice after that long pause.]

[His head tilts to one side, looking at the image on the drone. Now this is a face and voice he doesn't know. But the other knows his name, which is... troublesome.]

[When he replies, it's a clip of Megatron's voice. Complete with some distortion and the green line on his visor following the noise.]

[Uuuuuuuugh why is there a filthy organic talking to him. As a matter of fact, why is there an organic and organic looking material around what he can only assume is Cybertron? He can't figure why he would be hallucinating such a thing either...]

[He leans forward ever so slightly to peer at her. The voice that replies to her sounds oddly distorted and clipped, but it's the Megatron's he knew.]

[Because Sam talks to everybody. It's a little weird to hear a voice so different from the Soundwave she knows coming from that frame, but. Okay.]

[There aren't actual vultures here, but lie still long enough and you're bound to attract a much larger, more dangerous creature.

Dirge has not seen the video the drone captured, but he has been watching the unmoving body for a while now from above. A dead mech just propped up on the bridge like that and no one else around? How lucky~

The teal jet stops circling abruptly and begins a dive, switching to robot mode a few yards above the street and using the thrusters on his heels to arrest his fall. His feet still crack the concrete when he lands, however- his landings have never been as graceful as some of the others of his frame type.]

What a beautiful, spiky pile of bits! [He comments, clasping his talons together as he strode closer to the inert figure. The biolights on this one's chassis are just top knotch. A rich bot? The mods alone seemed to imply as much. Dirge crouches next it, staring into the reflective faceplate.]

How exotic... I wonder if there's anything behind it? [His claws reach for the mask, intending to try and pry it off.]

[It takes a while, but once he's actually awake enough, his scanners pick up someone near him. It wasn't a signal he knew but another Decepticon could be just as much trouble as an Autobot. So he didn't move. He didn't have enough energy to just book it out of there, so he would wait for the right moment.]

[When the jet lands, the Decepticon logo on him is obvious enough. Not one Soundwave knew though. Even if he was staring directly at Dirge, the other wouldn't be able to tell thanks to that lovely visor.]

[Despite the noise of protest his arm makes, his hand shoots up to grab the jet's. His other hand? Will be going to wrap his spindly fingers around Dirge's neck if the Con doesn't move quickly enough.]

[Dirge jerks in surprise when his hand is grabbed, not expecting something that had formally been so inert to suddenly move that fast. It still didn't mean this bot wasn't on his last leg... plenty of dieing beings lashed out at the last second in a weak attempt to protect themselves.

He sees the other hand come up out of the corner of his optics and manages to duck his head aside just in time not to get a pair of creeper fingers latched around his throat. His other hand is still trapped though.]

Oh, don't be like that! I'll finish you off quickly if you want. I'm too hungry to be in the mood to play with you.

[He responds, trying to wrench his arm out of the other's grasp.]

[Someone is actually wandering in this particular section of nowheresville. While Skyfire puts more effort than other large bots into making sure he doesn't stomp around when he walks, it's still impossible to miss the faint tremor every time the massive old shuttle takes a step.

And he just found what looks like someone in need of some serious help]

[Were they alive? He edges in a bit closer, catching sight of the drone caught up in a skinny finger cage]

Oh! You're alive! Are you alright, do you need to refuel? Ah0 Don't destroy your drone, you'll need that for later... I'm sure I have a spare cube on me, just a moment...

[Sweet Primus that is a huge Cybertronian. He's even bigger than Megatron. His luck the other is an Autobot too.]

[Soundwave's legs pull closer to his body, ignoring the creaking noise from his joints, sort of looking like an angry cat being approached. Even if Skyfire didn't seem hostile, he didn't exactly survive millions of years of war by being trusting of others. But... he did need fuel. Maybe he could get Skyfire to give him some and then shock the everliving hell out of him when he approached. That seemed reasonable.]
