[Here, we see the vicious Jetstorm in his natural habitat, hidden away in his room while he looks over various papers containing what must be sheet music, if the backs of the pages and the contents of the book in front of him are anything to go on. What could he be planning? What devious schemes could he be researching?]

[From the look of things, it must be something quite awful. Flopped out on his front, staring with such intent, silent as a grave. Surely the end must be near!]

[... Or he could just be enthralled. YOU'LL NEVER KNOW.]

[Oh. Wait. He's spotted the drone.]

... Why are you recording th- [THE DRONE HAS BEEN CAUGHT. THE END IS NIGH. RUN FOR YOUR LIVES! VIDEO OUT!]

Oh, a tromp is just a walk, if a walk that's a little more purposeful and/or determined than the average.

[Uh... Okay.] Oh. What is our purpose for this, then?

Chairs. In the not-too-distant future, I'm gonna need a few more than what I've got. I'm thinking I'll tromp down to the warehouse and pick up a few folding ones.

I can help you carry them. [He's not sure how many would be needed, but he's a strong mini.]

[Give him a few moments to gather up his papers... skin, papers, things. Whatever they are. And set them aside. So he can go outside and meet with Sam.]

[Hey, neighbour. She's chillin' outside her door, carry-all over a shoulder for force of habit---and the off-chance she'll find something small enough to carry in it while scaring up some chairs.]

Hey there. Anything you wanna watch for while we're at the Warehouse?

[He wanders over to meet her, still surprised he can get his fat shoulders through the doorway, but hey. At least he's not as wide all around and he can shimmy through.]

I do not think so. There is not much I require, though I have been reconsidering a new means of transportation. [From the hunch of those shoulders and the lowering of that gaze, you know that's a humiliation for him.]

[The hunch of those shoulders, the lowering of that gaze... and that shift in aura only serving to shore up the impression. Aw. Sam waits for Jetstorm to look up again, and offers the mini a smile.]

Won't hurt anything to look.

[She'll shrug---no judgement, little guy---and start for the nearest stairwell.]

We got time to look, too. No rush today.

[Not that Sam has more than one speed, but that's beside the point.]

[He tries to hide his feels, but really, he's no good at it. He'll just tough it out like he always does.]

I had no other plans myself. What had you needed to find chairs for, if I may ask?

Well, to the best of my ability to track it with the difference in days? We're coming up on what would be Thanksgiving where I'm from. I'm not going to let the holiday come and go without doing anything for it, so Hiro and I have been planning to make a bunch of food and have people over. It's a ways off, but would you like to join us?

[He's not adverse to that. He probably won't be able to eat anything for himself, but he'll just bring his own snacks or something.]

I would like that. I may not be able to consume what you prepare, but I have things I can bring. I realize my not being organic could pose a problem for you.

Great! [She beams, delighted to hear it---she's been wanting to be a good neighbour to the little Autobot, and is glad to include him in this.] It's not a problem, but I am sorry that what we'll have on the table would probably gunk up your innards... unless you're kitted out to consume organic material? From the way every Cybertronian I've talked to has reacted to hearing about Dirge being enthusiastically omnivorous, I'm suspecting that's not likely but I don't want to be rude and only assume.

[Well, at least she's happy about it. But she did invite him.]

I... No, I cannot consume organic material. I do not think I would want to anyway. I am not sure what all it is, but I have heard that it is... varied. [And once alive. He's still not sure how he feels about that.]

'Varied' is probably the one descriptor that'd apply to all of it. From region to region, it's very different.

[She shrugs, not wanting to bore the minicon with elaboration.]

If you're ever curious about organic food---or whatever, really---you can go right ahead and ask. I've been asking a lot of questions about Cybertronians, bothering Wing, bothering Breakdown, bothering Jadewing... and fair's fair.

[He probably won't get it all right off, but it's very likely he'll ask at some point, especially when he sees it.]
