[Traitorous Drone Broadcasting.]

[The feed comes on for only a moment.  Just long enough for the image to linger on three mechs sharing a berth.  Breakdown in the middle, Knock Out snuggled up on his right, and Jetstorm tucked to his left side.  Nothing amazing or flashy, just three cuddle bugs sawing logs together.  Aren't they cute?]

[The drone thought so, and thought everyone should know.  Hope you enjoyed, as the traitorous little drone is going to shut off the feed and flee the room before they wake and take offense to this breach.]

[He might not take offense, per se, but he will be mightily embarrassed. This wasn't exactly in the plans for him before he conked out while they were watching that movie earlier, but he'll have to remember to find a copy of it for himself. Background noise while he's starting to drift off is awesome.]

[Or at least it was, until the silence kicked in after. It starts with a little twitch, then another. Then a little more twitching and he'll squirm to get into another position. But that arm has him cradled good and he's not able to move as well as he'd like. So he'll whimper about it and go still.]

[A few minutes later, it loops back on him and little fingers try grabbing for... something. Anything. His face contorts, flashing between terror and anger. He settles again, and then a few seconds later starts an intense twitching fit, startling himself awake with a cry as he bolts straight up, one arm swinging a fist like he meant to strike something that just isn't there.]

[He's not fully aware of what's actually going around him, but he's still seeing his memory, watching it fade away, shaking in the aftermath.]

[Breakdown jumps with a soft jerk when Jetstorm suddenly sits up.]

Hey...you all right?

[Don't mind the really unattractive snort as Knock Out jars awake on the other side of Breakdown HI.]

Wuzhappenin!? Shhhhhhh.

[yeah he's still mostly asleep sorry]

[Truth be told, he's not sure what he heard just then. All he knows are that he's not where he was when he was last conscious, he's very close to Breakdown and is that... Yeah, that's Knock Out. And he's still shaking.]

[It'll take him a minute or two before he gets his bearings back.]

I am okay.

[Liar, that he is. But he'll try to scoot himself back out of Breakdown's hold to the edge of the bed so he can leave them in peace. He'll have to ask how he ended up there at all later.]

I apologize for waking you.

I fail. I’m sorry guys.

Nothin', Doc. Go back to sleep.

[Breakdown is either completely oblivious to Jetstorm’s desire to pull away, or just doesn’t intend to allow it. He’ll kind of hold onto the minicon.]

It’s fine. Think you can get back to sleep.

[Aaaa, uh... He's stuck here now, isn't he?]

I... In a while. I would like to go for a short walk, if it is alright. I can continue sleep on the couch so I will not bother you.

[He huffs, but lets him go.] You don’t need to sleep on the couch...

[He... He would pull away more, but something makes him hesitate, as much as he wants to leave and let the two of them rest in peace.]

It would be better if I did. I cannot be sure I will not wake like this again and wake you with me. Please, rest. I will be fine.

[Breakdown huffs.] You’re fine, Jetfire. You’re not bothering us.

[He looks at the minicon.] It’s generally better to not be alone when dealing with nightmares...

[He turns his slightly, as if he meant to look toward Breakdown and just can't meet his gaze.]

But you were resting. That is important.

Yeah, and now I’m awake. So what? You’re fine here, Jetstorm. You’re not a bother.

[Something about that makes him feel even more awful about the whole situation. It's not like he could've controlled his nightmares, but he didn't have to wake up Breakdown in doing so.]
