[accidental video] - southeastern sector

[As promised, the world ~~ends~~erupts in explosions here and there and everywhere one random night. Why wouldn't it, right? Sure, this is all fun and games, or is it?]

[It's not quite, not for this little mech the camera has seen fit to track, as is apparent from his screams as he darts behind this piece of rubble and that, trying desperately to get to that broken down building right over thar. Whatever has caused these massive craters around him, it clearly isn't finished, and he's right in the middle of it.]

[He lets loose a last cry as one particularly shiny explosion catches him right near on his aft and makes a wild dive for the ruined entrance - or at least, it might have once been an entrance at one point - and scrambles to get back up from the floor to slam his back against the wall, optics wide with ~~fright~~alarm. He presses a palm to his chest to help steady him because omfg what is going on even this is cray. He could fight back if he could at least see what he'd ticked off, but there's just nothing there! That same hand is lifted and two fingers go to the side of his head]

Master Drift! Slipstream! Please, respond! We are under attack!

[And he has no idea where he is. And please are you alive. This isn't Earth. This looks more like Cybertron. But it's not. Scrap is going down. What happened here what even is going on this is so not Kansas anymore STOP SHOOTING AT HIM]

[Whatever that little drone thing was that was near him, he hopes it... Oh. There it is, right in front of him. He stares at it. His mouth moves to say more. And the feed drops there.]

Not here. Though the explosions are a new thing, just started today. You must have fragged someone off when you showed up.

[Now he's worried all over again, more than just that he's screwed up. Master Drift had been angry with him before, but he never, ever thought that he would make the mech so angry that he'd try to have him killed.]

[It's enough that he almost misses what Breakdown says next.]

It is happening everywhere? But how? How can this just happen? There must always be a reason, some source of the attack.

[He's getting a lot of offers for help. This is encouraging, even in so terrible a time, but he can't really say no.] I do not know. If this is happening everywhere, is anywhere safe?

I told you the reason: Unicron. Don't believe me, ask the Guardians.

If nothing else you'd have someone to watch your back and get you to the medbay if necessary.

[He doesn't... want to believe you. About Unicron. He can hardly face his sensei's wrath. How can he expect to face that monster?]

[And he's also currently looking over a small child.] There is a child here, and I am worried for her. Would she be able to come?

[And has it fried your processor yet that a Con is not only willing to help an Autobot, but also a human? Or...whatever organic is with Jetstorm...]

((ooc: And as a note, while Breakdown is cool with it, we'll have to have Jen end up separated if Breakdown comes to help Jetstorm, since she's mine. XD;;))

[He will be, once he's done trying to nunchuck you half to death, as pathetic as that will be, when he finds out you're a Decepticon. He still hasn't seen an emblem yet, but he's not exactly hiding his. And shit is getting real around here.]

[nod] Good. She must be kept safe.

(ooc: shit okay XD let's uh... I guess Jetstorm's about to get injured then, trying to escape with Drift. and Breakdown can deal with a Minicon who's been trained forever to arrest Decepticons. How's that sound?)

[He nods] Understood. Send me your coordinates. I'll come meet you.

[Send coordinates? He doesn't even know where he is. Give him a minute. He'll have to have a few words with the dronecamerathing before that happens.]

[Feed ends and...sorry, even with Gateways it's gonna take Breakdown a little while to make his way yo Jetstorm's location. He stransforms, cursing the explosion that went off under a tire just before he stopped.] You here, mini?

(ooc: taking a bit of a liberty here)

[He's okay with that, though a little less so now that he's dealing with an injury. He'd had to hobble back inside where at least he had something between him and whatever was out there. Breakdown will find him just beyond the entryway, clutching a sparking knee that he dares not move.]

I-I am here.

[Breakdown is big. He can stick his head in where Jetstorm is hiding, but not much else. He looks in, looks around, and frowns.]

Where's the kid?

[He'll pick something better when he's not so desperate. Necessity kinda called the shots on that one.]

S-safe. She is taken to better shelter.

All right. Let's get you to the medbay then. [he reaches an arm in to offer a giant hand to help pull the mininout of his hiding spot.]

[He'd get to his feet along the wall propping him up, but it was hard enough to just sit there. He looks up at Breakdown, then at his hand and puts a tinybig palm on it, other to the ground, to force himself back up on his good leg.]

[Not without a gasp. He'd like to take his time with this, but those explosions outside aren't getting any farther away, and Breakdown is still right out in it. He hasn't lost sight of that, and he'll hurry as much as he can, using the wall for support, to get back outside.]

No problem. [Still felt odd saying that to some strange Autobot, but he was getting more used to it.]

Just hang on a moment, I'm gonna just haul you out, it'll be faster. [He will give Jetstorm a chance to protest if so inclined, but if he doesnmt Breakdown will just drag him quickly out...and hold him up by his hand for a moment. And oh look, this big bruiser is a Con!]

[He won't protest, once he realizes what's going on. The less weight on that leg right now, the better.]

This is [And then he catches a glimpse of the Con emblem. shit] A Decepticon!

[no no no, now he's gonna squirm and flail and reach up to try and pry that hand off of his arm and things just went from so bad to much worse there went an explosion not far from behind him he's gonna die out here isn't he]

[Really? Now? You notice and freak out now.]

[He'll put Jetstorm on his feet, but ue doesn't let go.]

Easy. I came to help, and freaking out like this is only going to get us both caught in one of those blasts.

[BOOM BOOM BOOM! Three, all around them, and just colorful fireworks this time.]

[It will. He knows it and he can't argue it. But his training... Everything he's been taught. This goes against all of it. And whatever this Decepticon wanted with the child and him, in the middle of this whole mess...]

[Not much choice still. He can't run, he can't even walk. And if he'd had any protests, those three blasts just startled it out of him. He's totally not clutching that hand that's holding him, nope.]

Okay. I will go with you.

[At least the little human is okay.]

[Breakdown relaxes when Jetstorm stops struggling. He'll shift the minicon so Jetstorm is tucked into the crook of his arm.]

...So what's your name?

[That didn't help much, really. Never minding that his knee is giving him all manner of grief for moving at all (really, how dare he), his nunchucks are pinned between him and that massive Decepticon arm. When did his luck get so foul?]

[And yet, there's been more than enough time for this bot to put some serious hurt on his little frame. And it hasn't happened.]

Jetstorm.

[He flinches at another explosion, not far off, not very shiny, more noise than damage, and reaches for his knee in almost the same instant. That was a bad idea.]
