[The feed cuts in mid-shriek, Sam’s drone apparently having interpreted the start of the sound as its cue to begin broadcasting. It shows the adept pushing herself to her feet, having been knocked to her hands and knees by---what? Water. She’s drenched to dripping, and the street she stands on is wet for several metres all around.]

Calvaire de crisse...!

[It’s no more than a mutter as she straightens and immediately starts for the shelter of the closest building, casting an anxious glance up as she goes. She’s through a doorway in a matter of moments due to making haste, and relaxes---marginally---as she moves further away from the entrance.]

Hn...I can't say I understand how, but that it quite fascinating.

I could try to explain the how of it, and if you want, I will, but every time I've tried I've found I'm not very good at making it make sense to anyone else. [She turns up her hands, mildly apologetic.] I tend to end up talking in circles.

[He chuckles.] You don’t have to. Perhaps it’s just one of those things that’s not meant to be explained.

...about that, or anything. [She slides back a bit to better settle against the bot's chest, the motion just forceful enough to make for an affectionate bump.] Thank you for being here for me.

[The affectionate bump makes his smile widen a bit.] I’m glad to be here for you, Sam, and that you feel you can talk with me about anything.

[He slips through the door of the spa and looks around. He’s not actually been in here yet.]

[It's a really nice spa. Not that Sam has been in many to compare, but in this case, no comparisons are needed.]

Were you wanting to look around a bit before we split? In spite of my surprise shower, I am gonna get a good soak and scrub in before anything else. That's a drawback to new tattoos---they have to have some time to heal up before you can get them wet. One of these days, assuming you're initially interested, I'll bore you with all the details.

If you want to look around a while, today might just be that day.

I’m glad you think so. [He brings up his free hand to give her shoulder a very, very like poke...more of a gentle nudge of affection before he shifts to let her climb out of his hand to the floor again.]

I think I’ll have a look around and see what services they might offer for me. Take your time, I won’t leave without you.

[That nudge gets her grinning, and she reaches over to pat at Wing's hand before it's withdrawn. Once standing, Sam stretches a little and nods.]

[She almost replies with 'omw' but she remembers Thundercracker and emotes, so it's 'be there soon.' Given Sam's walking speed, it's soonish, but still before long.]

Got myself cleaned up a bit better and... blueprinted, basically.

[She holds up her left hand, showing the sheet music traced onto her wrist.]

Right shoulder, left wrist, right thigh. Expansions go in no particular order, with one exception; there's a certain song going to my last bit of blank space, wherever it ends up.

[He chuckles.] I meant where you'll be having the actual inking done, since this was just prepwork.

[Though knowing the bodily locations was going to be his next inquiry.]

The medic? Hn...I guess that makes sense. If you’re having something installed into your structure the best to do it would be a medic. I guess it’d be the same with humans too, right?

Yep, and yeah. Started with my showing up to ask about options, since there'd be no-one better to warn me away from someplace with substandard practice. If all of the things used in tattooing a person aren't handled properly, it can be bad.

Bad? ....Infections I take it? [Infections aren’t unknown among his kind, though he’s guessing what would infect one of them likely wouldn’t do anything to the other.]

Yeah. I mean, it's entirely possible for a tattoo to infected after the fact if it isn't properly cared for while it's healing up, but it's possible to pick up some serious bloodborne diseases if the equipment isn't cleaned as it ought to be. Fortunately, though? The professionals are just that---professionals, and despite some periodic scare-mongering, there've been no confirmed cases to make the news.
