H-Hello! Woo-chan told me I can use this to contact other people who have found themselves waking up in this world. It answered my questions very well, so I am not as confused anymore.

My name is Akito. I was leaving to find my family when I found myself here instead. I know the chances are not very high, but is Wanijima Agito here? If so... You may not be aware of my existence, but we were separated at birth. I was just starting my search for you...

[ it's fairly obvious that this person - boy or girl? it's impossible to tell (especially with the thick winter coat they wear), though the voice and features all seem to scream 'female' - is not comfortable or used to speaking conversationally, but also that they're trying very hard and... seem quite excited to be contacting everyone through the network. ]

I have two questions for everyone who is willing to answer!

One: are there any bodies of water nearby?
Two: is there a place where I can stay?

Well, if you're going there, then we'd best find you a gate. You'd never make it there before dark otherwise, especially barefoot.

[And especially since the most direct route led straight through a Cybertronian ecosystem with a number of predators that could be dangerous to the unwary.]

Your best bet to find one would probably be to head toward the city. The closer to the city you are, the more of them there tend to be. Once you do find one, I can give you the control sequence to activate the gate and take you relatively close to the farms.

Yeah. Just start heading west and it should come into view before too long.

And there should be. From my experience, the people running the farms are pretty understanding and would probably give you a place to crash for the night if you really needed it. It wouldn't be likely to be a permanent arrangement, though, since housing's so easy o come by in the city itself.

...If I seem to be handling things pretty well, it is only because I have never been outside before today. Even Earth would have been very different to what I was used to, and I had been hoping to go outside one day. In a way you could say I have been prepared for this kind of situation.

I am not used to being around many people. For me, I think to live in a city right away would be overwhelming.

Do you think I would be allowed to stay there for long enough to get used to being around people?

They might; depends on who you ask. Though they'd probably ask you to help out with the chores and stuff if it was going to be more than a one-night thing. There's not really a system of currency here, but if there's one thing I know about farms it's that every able-bodied person is expected to help out; there's usually too much to do for that not to be the case.

Well, aside from the fact that it's just considered a general social non-no to walk down the street with no pants on, it tends to get kinda drafty down there if you don't wear them, you know? Plus, a lot of places like restaurants and stuff won't let you in if you're not wearing shoes and pants, for sanitary reasons.

But girls wear dresses all of the time! If I'm covered this much then it's the same as a dress.

Yeah, you're technically decent. But a coat's not really the same as a dress.

[He'd ask if you have underwear on under there Akito, but that's TMI territory, would probably come off as creepy.]

Besides, it's not really considered... acceptable most places for guys to wear dresses anyway. Don't ask me why; it's just one of those fashion rules.

[ if he wears any clothes at all, that is. mostly because he couldn't transform his tail to legs and vice versa if he was wearing pants all the time. but he did get to wear shorts when practicing Air Trecks and hand-to-hand combat!

also, who says he's a guy? :'D he would be running around as a girl right now if he wasn't still afraid to. mostly because whenever he's in his cryptid form he feels a little less comfortable as a boy than he would as a girl. go figure. he's equally happy either way as a human though. ]

The only reason I am not in a skirt now is because this was very unexpected.

If that's your thing, I guess you're welcome to do it. But I'm afraid the coat still doesn't count in most people's books; I speak from personal long coat-wearing experience.

Besides, it's still a bit chilly out to be running around without something over your legs. Wouldn't want you to catch a cold or something right after you got here; that would suck.
