H-Hello! Woo-chan told me I can use this to contact other people who have found themselves waking up in this world. It answered my questions very well, so I am not as confused anymore.
My name is Akito. I was leaving to find my family when I found myself here instead. I know the chances are not very high, but is Wanijima Agito here? If so... You may not be aware of my existence, but we were separated at birth. I was just starting my search for you...
[ it's fairly obvious that this person - boy or girl? it's impossible to tell (especially with the thick winter coat they wear), though the voice and features all seem to scream 'female' - is not comfortable or used to speaking conversationally, but also that they're trying very hard and... seem quite excited to be contacting everyone through the network. ]
I have two questions for everyone who is willing to answer!
One: are there any bodies of water nearby?
Two: is there a place where I can stay?
Thank you very much for listening! I look forward to meeting you all.
[ and a nice, formal bow for you all before the feed ends. ]
((ooc: this derp is in the East district. OOC Intro here!))

[The young woman speaking gives a friendly little wave; given the brief glimpse of it, her hand appears gloved.]
It's nice to meet you! My name is Sam, and I'd be happy to answer any questions you have. First, yeah, there's a good-sized stream and a river I know the way to well enough, and can show you sometime. Other people would know of other places, since we've got quite a few who can get a good bird's-eye view. Second, yeah, there are a lot of places free for the taking.
I am near a canyon. Which direction would I go from here to get to water? [ while he doesn't need to be in water it still would make him recover from both of his recent journeys much more quickly. his human form has always had less stamina and a longer recovery time... ]
Do you know if there is a place I can stay that is near water, Miss Sam?
I'd need a better idea of what's around you, if you wouldn't mind turning the camera around sound to show...? And off the top of my head I can't say, but we can look into it.

I just need somewhere to swim for now... That is the most important thing.
[ because he could simply find a little nook under the water and sleep there, protected from the elements. handy dandy feature of being able to breathe water!
and maybe he also just really really needs something familiar and comforting for a little bit while he wraps his brain around everything that's happened in the past few hours. ]
Was Woo-chan's video good enough, Mi- Sam?
Stay put, I'm bringing you pants, and then we'll address those questions.
Um! No - it is okay! I just- I just would like to get to some water.

Hello, Akito. My name is Wing.
I can't say I've met anyone named Agito yet, but there are lots of people here, so it is possible he's here as well.
There are several bodies of water around here, and also numerous places to stay.
Hello, Mister Wing.
I think it would be good for Agito not to be here, since it would mean he is safe at his home.
Do you know if there are places to stay that are near water?
Re: [video]
[He looks thoughtful.] Probably nearer to...the Southwest. There is a lot of organic landscape there, which I understand needs a lot of water.

You named your little drone Woo too?
...Yes. It kept saying 'woo', so I thought that Woo-chan would be a good thing to call it.
Re: [video]
I'm Jendayi. It's nice to meet you. [Have a curtsy.]

[Hiro names his drone "convenient pig-attacking projectile", sooo...]
so akito stares for a few long moments, cheeks slowly colouring because this boy is... cute? he's pretty sure that's what this feeling is. the books say your heart will go dokidoki and your stomach will have butterflies...
and akito has no idea what to do or say. ]
H-Hello..!
It kept saying 'woo', so calling it Woo-chan made the most sense to me. Am I supposed to be calling it something else?
I dunno. I never really thought to name mine. I was more busy using it to fight for my life when I first got here.
[Lies and exaggerations, it was ONE boar.]

[Lea gives an amused little smirk.]
And to answer your second question first, yeah, there's plenty of places you can stay. There's more apartments than there are people here so you basically just need to pick out an uninhabited one, sign a few papers, and you're good to go.
As for water, there are a few bodies of water around, though which one's closest depends on where you are. What're your surroundings like?
no subject
That is useful information! Thank you.
I am near a large canyon.

[Because your pantsless-ness hasn't gone unnoticed, Akito.]
Might be a bit of a hike though. Unless... is there a gate near you? A big, vertical ring of metal?

Stay away from the warehouse.

If you tell me where it is and what it looks like, I will make sure not to go near it.
