H-Hello! Woo-chan told me I can use this to contact other people who have found themselves waking up in this world. It answered my questions very well, so I am not as confused anymore.

My name is Akito. I was leaving to find my family when I found myself here instead. I know the chances are not very high, but is Wanijima Agito here? If so... You may not be aware of my existence, but we were separated at birth. I was just starting my search for you...

[ it's fairly obvious that this person - boy or girl? it's impossible to tell (especially with the thick winter coat they wear), though the voice and features all seem to scream 'female' - is not comfortable or used to speaking conversationally, but also that they're trying very hard and... seem quite excited to be contacting everyone through the network. ]

I have two questions for everyone who is willing to answer!

One: are there any bodies of water nearby?
Two: is there a place where I can stay?

[ however surprising it is to akito to see robot people and a young child and to generally be treated like a real person... out of all of the people he's seen so far, a boy who appears to be his age is somehow the most exciting - and surprising.

so akito stares for a few long moments, cheeks slowly colouring because this boy is... cute? he's pretty sure that's what this feeling is. the books say your heart will go dokidoki and your stomach will have butterflies...

and akito has no idea what to do or say. ]

And to answer your second question first, yeah, there's plenty of places you can stay. There's more apartments than there are people here so you basically just need to pick out an uninhabited one, sign a few papers, and you're good to go.

As for water, there are a few bodies of water around, though which one's closest depends on where you are. What're your surroundings like?

[ having no real experience using whatever robot Woo-chan is, Akito doesn't know how to switch to audio to match the stranger. it makes him uncomfortable, but he isn't about to ignore this man just because of a formatting mismatch. ]

If you tell me where it is and what it looks like, I will make sure not to go near it.

I haven't met the other human beings here yet, so I can't say if I am smarter or weaker than them. I just am not interested in territorial disputes.

Hmmm... You're probly in the East sector then. Which means the closest option for bodies of water would be... [Thinks for a minute] ...probably the hot springs at the spa in the Northeast sector. Nice place, and the people there could probably see about getting you some proper clothes too, if you asked.

Might be a bit of a hike though. Unless... is there a gate near you? A big, vertical ring of metal?

There is, but it's a lot further away; basically clear on the other side of the city. The hot springs are a lot closer, and from there you'd be able to take a gate right into the city when you were ready.

Damn... Well, looks like you're gonna have to walk then. Unless you want to get one of the robots to give you a ride. They're usually pretty good about that sort of thing, far as I've seen.

I guess the lake would? I mean I don't know that anybody's ever done any measurements or anything. The hot springs are more multiple smaller pools, though, as opposed to one big lake, so it's sort of hard to tell.
