[Accidental Video]
[Another random camera - or maybe the same one from before, it's hard to tell - catches Death walking about along some street. There is a constant pattering sound quite separate from the clattering steps of his bony feet. And . . . is that a trail of brightly colorful stones? If one didn't know better, one would think they look like Skittles. Either he's walking along them a single-line path of them or . . . no . . . no, they must be coming FROM him - they're only behind, none ahead.]
[Death finally pauses, skull tilting downward toward the street as he seems to look around...and spot the trail he's leaving. He doesn't exactly sigh - he hasn't any lungs - but there's clearly a long-suffering impression before he turns to continue wordlessly on his way.]
[Looks like someone's been turned into a pooping-candy dispenser.]

JENDAYI. IT IS GOOD TO SEE YOU. HOW HAVE YOU BEEN?
Re: [Video]
He was a cat and she was drunk the last time they metBut...she doesn't feel threatened. He seems...familiar.]I've been okay...and...and you?
I HAVE BEEN WELL. I AM MAKING MY ROUNDS.
Re: [Video]
Re: [Video]
YOU HAVE BEEN STAYING SAFE, JENDAYI?
Re: [Video]
[She's been pretty sheltered from the Miasma and any monsters it may spit out, so...]
I've...been trying? [She thinks she's been staying safe...]

...until now. His wings raise high on his back at just the EM field coming off whatever is around the corner. But he has to know. It might be full of more candy. Slowly, he peeks out from the wall of an alleyway.]
...!
[If he had a spark it would be pounding at the sight of the opticless cybertronian drifting just ahead of a candy trail. As it is, the jet backs up a few steps in shock, back banging against the other wall, scraping a paint streak from his wings.]
Ow~!

DIRGE.
[The voice is more felt in the mind than heard aloud, the intention behind it more greeting than anything, an acknowledgment of who's there. Still . . . THAT figure saying a name like his . . . ]
((ooc: Death's not actually, like telepathic or anything. He's not invading Dirge's mind, can't read it or anything like that. Just that's how he's perceived when he communicates. And he knows people's identities, but doesn't necessarily know too much /about/ them, certainly not anything a player wouldn't want. Given Dirge's base nature concerning life/non-life, Death probably /does/ know that, though I leave that up to your discretion. =3))

Swindle always said my eating habits would be the death of me...
[He wants to run but he's transfixed by the apparition, much more so then they candy it was trailing.]
((ooc: You can certainly know anything about Dirge! His short time alive, his all-spark powered death cheatey status, and that fact he's technically just part of someone else.))
Awww poor Dirge XD <3
POSSIBLY. BUT DO NOT FEAR, DIRGE. NOW IS NOT YOUR TIME.
[Lightless optics study the young clone. The body is dead-grey, with things that look broken, pieces missing, edges rusted, whole sections of plating corroded. And yet the mech-looking being stands effortlessly, an impression of power and capability wrapped in an otherworldly aura that by itself would be enough to unsettle even the sturdiest of sparks.]
[But Death isn't here to frighten. He doesn't approach. The First Guardian has merely been making his rounds, and will readily pause to let someone attempt to come to terms with his existence however they need to.]
not ready to be faced with own quasi-mortality
Wait a minute how does this creature know?
The clone scoots out of the alleyway, still terrified but also curious now. All the signs of lifelessness in a body that was somehow still functioning. Was it powered by an all-spark fragment as well? No, that would have fixed all the damage...
The shard in his chest seems to recognize it but he can only catch a vague feeling of 'opposite opposite opposite' from it.]
Are you.....a ghost?
/pats
I AM NOT. GHOSTS RESULT WHEN ONE'S CONSCIOUSNESS CANNOT OR WILL NOT ALLOW ME TO GUIDE IT ON ITS WAY AFTER THE MORTAL BODY'S CESSATION OF LIFE.
[You're not the brightest bulb in the box, Dirge, but you're far from dumb, so he'll leave it at that. He's discovered that it tends to be easier - if marginally sometimes - on mortal minds to come to the answer themselves than to be outright told.]
no subject
Wait.... so you can get rid of ghosts? Potentially? [He asks, terror overcome by his impulsivity for the moment. He took Sam's promise to haunt him if he killed her very literally.]
no subject
NOT IF THEY ARE UNWILLING OR UNABLE TO MOVE ON. I CANNOT DEFY ANOTHER’S WILL FOR HIM OR HERSELF IN THAT REGARD, NOT UNLESS IT IS DEEMED OTHERWISE.
no subject
I see.
[He fidgets nervously with his claws, one wing flicking and then the other.]
You're something...very strong. But different. [The clone says quietly, trying to make sense of what his shard is telling him.]
Opposite. [Of the all-spark? And the all spark was...creation....life...-! Dirge looks suddenly alarmed, perhaps more so than when he'd first discovered who was at the end of the candy trail.]
Oh, I get it now. That's what you meant by 'it wasn't my time.' Of course its not. I don't have a time. Stay away from me.
[Pause.]
....Why are you trailing candy?
no subject
[The being shifted to study the trail.]
IF I AM NOT MISTAKEN, IT HAS TO DO WITH THE MIASMA-SUMMONED CANDIES I PARTOOK OF RECENTLY. YOU ARE WELCOME TO THEM IF YOU WISH.
