[The little drone is looking down on a rather beat up looking blue mech. His red faceplate is marred by a huge hole where his left optic should be. The mists are still fading around him. After a moment his limbs twitch, and then he's surging upright and to his feet with a roar.]

[He stops, completely shocked by his surroundings. He's among graves. Simple stones marked with names ranging from clearly Cybertronian to more Human. Turning a slow circle he spots the drone and frowns.]

What the scrap is going on here?

[Hold that thought, he's doing to walk them through the ground bridge really quick. On the other side he'll pause and look around, taking thing in.]

[She'll continue after they've passed through the portal, and her new acquaintance has had a moment to get oriented.]

Different first few choice words, same sentiment. It hasn't been bad, but... being stranded kind of bites. Best part's been the people. So,

[She twists a little, turning as well as she's able to look to the big bot.]

I should probably ask who it is I'm talking to.

Uh...Breakdown.

[Well...there's the hospital. He'll just head that way now.]

Sam. Nice to meet you.

[She'd do the same, if she weren't only along for the ride.]

Uh...you too. [Wow...this was so odd.]

[He'll head in and it doesn't take long to be sent back to a room to be looked at. Lucky for Sam one of the nurses comments that it's not polite to hold humans like that, and so on his way to the room he'll shift his hold on Sam to let her sit in his palm.]

...sorry.

[She waves a hand before she settles to sit with her legs folded, hands pressed against the big bot's palm.]

'Sokay; no harm, no foul. I was going to let it slide, at least until you were looked at.

...But while we're at it, for the future; A word first, if you're wanting to snatch someone up, okay?

[Yeah, he notices the lack of eye, and the patch.]

Miasma mists spitcha out like it did us.

And what happened to your patch? Ya lose it?

[His remaining optic narrows a bit.] What are you talking about? What patch?

[For his optic? No, that can't be what Bulkhead is talking about.]

....for your eye. [He gestures at his missing eye. Really Breakdown? This some kind of trick?]

The one Knock Out made for it.

[His frown deepens.] I don't have a patch for my eye, it's not like I've had time to go anywhere.

What's going on? [He's getting mad now. This isn't funny!]

[His remaining optic flickers at her as he kind of peers at her awkwardly.]

Uh...right. [He...he could...say something before picking a human up. No big deal...right?]

[Raiden's eyes crossed on the video feed from the drone-- it always looked a little weird when he started fiddling with settings. After a few, he tried a normal, boring "handshake" ping to the new frequency, just to see if it would work. His codec was reporting a signal, anyway.]

I think you're all set up. Give me a buzz later. Might as well stick together.

[So... you broke a Decepticon's brain by being nice to them? Man, good thing no one ever told the Autobots about that, or the war would have ended a long time ago...]

[Sam is at least accustomed to being inspected, even if it's normally her ink drawing others' attention. Her response to the peering? A level look back.]

I'm fine. [He looks away.] It's...just been a weird day.

[Seriously, he must be dead or something. Someone managed a cheap shot and he's actually dead.]

[He feels the ping and pings back]

Right. [This has got to be a dream.]

[Raiden grinned into the drone feed. Not the weirdest person to get his codec frequency.]

Sure, sure. Maybe when I get to civilization I'll look you up.

Weird doesn't even begin to cover it, but I know what you mean.

[She shook her head. She'd been meditating in Kurain before ending up here.]

Go get yourself looked at. I'll look you up once we both reach civilization, I guess. Try not go get hurt any worse!

…it's a difficult concept, I understand. [No, he's not insulting at all in his tone, just acknowledging the truth.] Are you familiar with the concept of alternate universes? Quantum physics?

[It was a shitshorm he didn't want to talk about, but the comment did have his studying her...]

So I've heard, except for the specification. Part of it's a natural inclination; the rest is me believing it's generally better to be chill.

[She shrugs, but she's still pleased to have made that impression; since she's being studied, it shows.]
