[To be honest, Predaking hasn't even noticed the drone that had been sent to find him. He's far too irritated by being in some odd yet familiar at the same time place to care about the small thing.
So when the video comes on, the dragon is clearly pissed off, a fiery glow brightening in his chest as he growls.]
What is the meaning of this??
[It was a roar more than anything, the words somewhat understandable but it was rough--he was still getting a handle on speaking in this form properly.
His wings spread and he lowers his head as he peers around, expecting a Decepticon to be close by at the very least.
Because he knows, for sure, that his fellow Predacons are nowhere to be found.]
This is not my Cybertron!

[Any being with that much power needed to be dealt with.
Quickly.]
Such as?

[She'd settle---happily---for having some way to divine that information, but that's far from the sphere of her spells.]
'How can I contact home?' That's still up in the air.

[She sighs, taking a moment to rub at her face with both hands. There's been a lot to take in, and she really does regret having nothing but bad news---or nearly nothing.]
Look, for what it's worth? If I find a way to get word out which'll work, I'll let you know.

[He tilts his head slightly, feeling a bit bad for her considering she seems just as upset as he feels.]
I would appreciate that. And likewise, should I happen across something.

Thank you.
[It's that little bit of reciprocity which prompts a small smile, and that little bit of reciprocity as much as their shared situation which motivates Sam to share:]
It's... iffy, so don't get your hopes too high, but I do have one thing in the works. To test.

[The whole concept of alternate worlds is a new one to Predaking so anyone that knows more than him?
He's definitely willing to listen to and respect.]

[She presses her lips into a line.]
Really, it'll hinge on whether or not I can find all of the stuff I need. I might have to make some substitutions, but that's something I've never needed to try before, so I can't be sure. If I can find everything, though? Then yes, I believe it will work.

There is, thank you. I'm going to need to know where there's a river, eventually. Would you let me know where one's closest, please, should you see one?

It would be my pleasure.

I am Predaking.

[And then she smiles. Everything that that little bow implies is encouraging, and even if the situation is far from ideal, it seems she's got some good company.]
It's nice to meet you, even under these circumstances. My name's Sam, Sam Patchowski.

[Straightening up, Predaking offers her the slightest of smiles.
He's still not good at this particular expression.]

[It's almost an aside.]
[A smile is a smile---or at least, the suggestion of a smile. Though she tends to only tentatively interpret expressions without the context of the aura she'd see speaking in person, Sam's confident of that.]
And fair's fair. If there's some way I can help you outside this project now in-progress, please say so. I know that that, too, is iffy, but on the off chance...
