Hm, I used to think much the same before ending up here. I can say for certain the Cybertron is Primus. I'll not say he's any sort of deity, but he is real. Unicron is his opposite. Any preaching you've heard likely refers to Primus as a creator, or the creator depending on whom you ask? Unicron is "The Great Destroyer". [Yeah, you can hear the finger quotes.]
When I first arrived here, there was no miasma. There was what looked like a tear in the sky, you can still see the debris that orbits the planet from items drawn from other places through that rift. It had been made by Unicron as he try to come here to destroy this Cybertron.
And yes, "this" Cybertron. I can say for certain there are at least seven other versions of our world, not including this one, and perhaps you'll confirm that there are at least eight.
[And boy does he know this all sounds crazy. At least he doesn't..."talk" crazy? You know, there's that...certain quality of vocal tone that just makes it clear that the speaker is completely bonkers? Yeah, he's missing that at least.]
