[It was clear to see the small bot noticing those details, the saw-inflicted damage, the general scrapes and scuffs and dents that the engineer normally didn't have, a grimace on his face as he pieced together what sort of 'glitch' it was.]

If I was in bad enough shape to be able to use that saw then yeah, old programming was right.
