[ Akito has admittedly forgotten to check up on the network, if only because he spent so many years without communication that it's hard to adjust...

But he needs help, even if he's scared to ask. He's hiding out in the burrow he made for himself under the pond, so it's dark save for the light that Woo gives off.

How do you make them go away? This isn't normal, is it?

[ Rinta-ghost begins asking him for a blood sample (again) - 'wanting to see the effects of a new environment and diet on the potency of your blood', apparently. Akito also is sporting a few deep gashes, similar to what a scalpel would leave behind, but he's not going to mention those. They're going to heal by tomorrow anyway...

Dr. Minami is usually not very considerate of his status as a sentient being, but he at least used to be considerate enough to treat him like a particularly smart pet. Meaning nine times out of ten if there was going to be pain, he was given warning and treated kindly, if not anesthetized.

[Sam actually manages to arrive in a surprisingly short time, zipping towards the pond on her stree'doo---and making a mental note to thank Wheeljack for the sturdiness of the mod job. She slows, seeing Akito, and lifts a hand in greeting as she pulls up to park.]

Here. I'm sorry I don't have more for you. There's supposed to be a third thing, some sort of flower, a person can add to try to make the mix more effective---and I'm not entirely sure how effective it'll be---but I can't remember just what it is for the life of me.

I sure hope so, kiddo. And it does, which is what has me hung up---although! [She snaps her fingers, having remembered something.] Violets. Violets aren't the flower that's supposed to go with the salt and fennel seed, but they're supposed to repel ghosts, and I think it's according to some Greek superstition leeks are supposed to do the same thing.
