Kasanka is a mixture of blood and fat and minced organ meat and grain for a filler cooked in a casing; its made to use up what would left over from a pig once the conventional cuts of meat are off it

Saffron is a spice made from a specific part of certain flowers

This is what happens when you have a whole lot of omnivores living in large groups; humans will eat just about anything, even if we're not as extremely omnivorous as Dirge

Their alt-modes are data-storage cassettes. On Earth, they were reformatted to mimic tape cassettes. The bipedal ones are about human height, which for our kind is puny. I can't speak in general, but the four I've known, it's like they made up for their lack of size with sheer attitude and fearlessness. Saw two of them try to take down a Seeker once.

[They kind of succeeded, too - knocked him on his aft for a moment. But then . . . it was Skywarp, so... But being his wingmate, TC's not going to betray his memory by revealing that.]

Nothing pressing. Mostly I am exasperated with Dirge in general, and also with how I cannot be 100% sure he's not going to murder me. I grant that the last time we crossed paths everything went actually ok but I trust him about as far as I can throw him

so at one point, dirge was weighing the feasibility of farming humans and I told him it was a terrible idea

just fucking terrible
for so many reasons
a big one being YOU CAN'T JUST EAT PEOPLE

and when i went to elaborate he got all irritated and declared he would eat whatever he wanted and i told him that if what he ate included people i would take his ability to taste away

he'd said once he didnt think he could bear to be without it way back when i was surprised to learn he ate at all so it seemed like good leverage
